I clench on my books tightly  like they will fall down on the floor as i close my locker, preparing for the next class.

"I wonder what Josh Holloway is doing here " that captured my ears as i stood on my locker, the advantages of having a locker near cheerleaders i roll my eyes at that , i swear my ears will bleed due to this newspaper from every mouth in school.

" i heard that his father sent him here to learn responsibility he has been in school of Alphas all his life training to become a alpha but he is spoilt of cause" Maeve said of cause i knew every member of cheerleads in this school, not that i was invincible because from elementary school i had always been picked on because of being a rouge , Alex sent me to this school because it was a school for every supernatural creature , pack members hardly went in this school , they were there but few not more than 100 hence Alex thought i was safe in this school , but it doesn't change how alphas are powerful more any wolf the had ever have , sometimes i even wish i was an Omega but i realise they had far worse times than rogues do ,Omegas were practically slaves for every Male wolf , they even endured being constantly raped due to their heat and were over worked. A locker was slammed right on my face and non other than the captain of rugby team Damien. He gave me a death stare that bore holes on my skin.

"Bloody rogues" he mumbled loudly for me to hear , of cause every wolf has a certain smell but when you a rouge that smell was covered by the burning tinder smell, due to that smell it made warriors dizzy the many packs hated Rouges because of the rapidly increasing Rouges attack on their territory, but as a rouge i understand their perspective, my father was unfairly treated , he was collared for whole 15 days which is the worst for a wolf , being collared the gold metal burns through the skin , after being collared my father was kicked out of his pack and forced to became a rouge , so many rouges attack packs for revenge for that. Damien was anxious because the Moonshine pack and Blackwood didn't have a treaty and Blackwood was one of the biggest pack should Damien step on Josh's toes the will be a huge war between Moonshine and Blackwood which of cause moonshine might definitely lose Blackwood has quite a bad reputation of mercilessly.

"Bloody Omegas" Damien said loudly as he growl loudly flaring his nose, his eyes followed Lisa who was walking along side the dean , she was an Omega and i knew the eyes following her meant she was in her heat and everyone could smell them, Omegas had to take suppressants constantly, the dean would probably accompany her because she was likely to get raped since she was on her heat. I didn't feel like school and with the dean gone i had the perfect chance to slip out unnoticed.

"Lizzy" a voice called out behind me i sigh loudly turning to Bella i almost roll my eyes but gave her a tight smile. Bella was a fae ,human had this ridiculous thing thinking fae had wings but only royalty had those not any fae.

"Can i walk with you" she said i mentally roll my eyes ,a rouge specifically translate to a lone wolf, its a way we are and find comfort on ourselves.

"Sure " i shrugged my shoulders as we walked out of the school premises using the back entrance leading to the woods, i felt anxious at that Bella was talking non stop while i was counting down the hours till my first shift , i had a lot of questions that will be answered when i shift , Bella ran to the near dead tree , touching it with her arm ,she closed her eyes bringing it back to life, the green leaves now visible ,it was the only green tree that was alive among the forest she continued doing that as we kept walking.

"Would you stop that" i half shouted annoyed by her actions she sigh apologetic.

"Am sorry its just that you know fae connect with nature i hate seeing nature like that" she apologies i rolled my before giving her  forced smile.

The light outside had left the beautiful day leaving it dark outside , i shivered as i stood naked right beside the river , being naked was something we used to as wolfs since we had to shift naked all the time otherwise the clothes will tear apart. Alex constantly telling me what to do teaching me i sigh because his teachings didn't go anywhere i was failing to shift, just as i open my eyes to tell him that this wasn't working ,i felt my bones snapping painful , my back snapping  back i screamed at the much pain falling on the ground ,i couldn't handle it was this how shifting felt like because if so i wasn't going ti do it ever again , when the pain finally subsided  i open my eyes looking at myself sleeping by the side ,my white legs caught my attention i stood up walking to the river to get a clear view of my reflection, the stood my wolf form with white fur and purple eyes ,the rarest Wolf since the Hunters attack in the past years ,the moon above made my purple eyes light up.

"You beautiful pup" i scoffed at that , glaring at him he had shifted from his human form standing right besides me.

"Am no pup" i scoffed at that , he scoffed finding hummer in teasing me , he stepped inside the lake enjoying trying to catch the fishes.

"You always be a pup to me " he said my eyes immediately travelled to the moon right above us , my happiness is short lived when i know my mother nor father are here to experience such an important thing on my life ,my first shift ,its like they not here to experience my first  walk.

"They watching above you pup" Alex said that joining me as we looked right above us ,the moon was so close it felt i could touch it, that warmed up my heart.

"Stop reading my mind" i reprimand him , but he scoffed at that immediately, am liking this mind link conversation.

"Then close off your walls" he said i shook my head at that standing up .

"Race you back to the cabinet " i say sprinting off and he followed pursuit behind me , male wolf are stronger than she-wolfs but he let me be and i won i know he let me be because i knew his speed, back to the cabinet he taught me how to change back to human form.

"How was it" he asked i shrugged my shoulders at that.

"The shift was painful but the wind felt good on my fur " i said excited at that thinking how amazing it was few minutes ago all my answers were answered.

"Well i certainly had fun" i turned looking at Alex but he wasn't even glaring at me it took me few minutes to realise what it actually was.

"Who are you" i asked

"Duh isn't obvious am Dara" she said i chuckled at her duh tone shaking my head at that , before i answered her a slice pierce through my abdominal making me scream falling on the ground, Alex worryingly crouch down inspecting if am okay , a whimper left my mouth as the pain subsided but still there , i felt my inside burning up.

"Lizzy what's the matter" he asked seeing my hand on my stomach this was far worse than any pain i experience.

"I don't know but i feel like my inside are burning" i said as tears rolled down my cheeks and i bitten my lower lip hard , his face changed from worried to sympathetic.

"Pup have you already met your mate" he asked i frowned confused, what did that had to do with anything.

"No " i answered truthfully i would know if i had met my mate plus the sparkles that everyone talked about.

"You did but since you hadn't shifted you hadn't felt the connection yet , the pain is caused by your mate" he took a deep breath "you mate is making out with someone else" he added i felt my whole life shattering why wouldn't he wait for me , i wondered who he was or how he was, was he rouges like myself or Omega.
