chapter 12

As soon as i had gathered myself and got rid of the shock i stood up ignoring the throbbing between my legs and put on some shoes,i stood up and walked out ,like usual as soon as i open the door four pair of eyes turned looking my way not daring saying anything to me but i knew the look they gave me certainly gave away that they wouldn't let me leave this room.

"Can i go visit my..." before i could even finish they turned away from me focusing on who comes in ,i stopped mid sentence,oh well it was worth a try right. I turned on my heels and walked back inside but the panic erupting from deep withing the pit of my stomach i swear i could reach out of it and grab it, i swallowed hard and my feet couldn't stop themselves from pacing back and forth, what was so bad that Alex would travel this distance to here, what if i would lose him too,what if he doesn't survive, Josh said he was bardly injured , how bad was that injury , would he wake up ,those question ran through my mind needing answers immediately but ofcause i couldn't answer any of them i needed someone to answer them, i needed to see for myself if he was okay ,i lost our parents before and Alex because my parent ,he had to grow up and take care of me ,i should have never left him behind.

"Pup" i almost jumped in excitement not because i was happy about seeing Martin well i was but a bigger part of me was excited because i knew he would give me the answers i without hesitation.

"Martin thank god i..." he started laughing immediately i stopped and looked at him curious he tilted his head to the side shaking his head.

"I haven't even gotten my usual hug to see how happy you are seeing me ,you just ready to question me"i rolled my eyes at him immediately at that "but am good with the hug you reek" he said stopping midway making sure i understand what he means ,my cheeks heat up in embarrassment at that.

"I...its just...its nothing where is Alex ,is he..."he raised one finger at me indicating i shouldn't continue my questions.

"Go take a shower I'll send an Omega to bring you clothes to change in I'll come back to take you in half an hour" he said before turning on his heels to leave.

"Wait I'll take 10 minutes just wait here" he bitten his lip tilting his head at my statement like i said something offensive.

"You my Luna i don't think that would be appropriate I'll be dinner should the Alpha see me here with you half naked" i nod because he was right though, he left immediately i jumped into the shower letting the water run down my hair , through that it got tangled between my fingers i manage to gently massage it until it was nice and smooth ,the water had a calming effect on me it ran down my spine washing away all today's dirtiness and replacing it with cleanliness,when i feel my limbs relaxed enough i walk out of the shower grabbing the white towel i wipe myself with it before grabbing another to wrap it around me ,now the difficulty am faced with drying my hair while it forms knots when i use the towel ,i sigh loudly before the is a door knock ,assuming its the Omega i grant her the permission to enter, using my wolf senses i can literally hear her heart beating way from here. Without saying anything she puts the clothes on the bed before taking strikes towards where i am she smiles helping me with my hair not saying anything.

"Have i done something to offend you because you never say anything to me other than do what you came here to do" i asked she keeps quite for few minutes not saying anything i shrugged gathering that she didn't want to talk to me.

"At first sure i thought you bad news but after seeing you being collared for nothing i felt sorry for you ,you not a bad person but us Omegas are different and you know it too we make sure to follow the rules set by the alpha,the alpha made sure to inform people under no circumstances should we share any communication with you" she said before keeping quite immediately when the door open ,the guard outside peak his head but quick to retract his head seeing me not decent ,she brushes my hair quitely after that before leaving me , i lotion before putting on the things i had been given ,when am done i sat the impatiently waiting for martin ,time seemed moving slower or did he change his mind. When i was ready to give up and take a nap the was a door knock i grunted permission to whoever was on the other side Aaron walked inside.

"Where is martin he was suppose to take me to my brother" i asked ofcause Aaron was the loyal dog ,excuse my language but he was the loyal dog to the alpha he kept quite motioning  for me to follow him,i easily compile knowing i would see my brother.

"Is it bad" i asked yet again he stopped walking for few minutes before shaking his head reprimanding himself not to say anything, i kept enquiring about my brothers health but he said non at all, i could feel my heart pulsing i swallowed the huge salava forming on my mouth before alex came into view,he had a bandage around his waist ,he must have put out hella lot of fight , the look on his face told how much he was in pain , my heart shattered into million of pieces as he closed his eyes before opening them and gave me a tight smile,my legs involuntary walked to where he was and sat on the bed, i cupped his face in my hands, before someone flinched behind me only then did i see Josh sitting across from us.

"Are you okay ,what happen,who did this to you Alex talk to me" i said with my tears on the brick of my eyelids ,he put his hand over mine.

"Look" he said before flinching i open my mouth to speak but he stopped me "you have to get out of this place "he said holding onto his bandage.

"Whats going on"Josh was quick to ask already on his feet.

"The rouges,they attacked me with a specific person in mind , they wanted you,they know where you are and they planning to attack Blackwood in order to bring you back" he said his facing getting pale

"I don't understand Alex" i asked he cupped my face before looking at josh.

"The man who betrayed the Blackwood and turned rouge ,he was my father" like light deemed in his eyes he nodded i was only confused until remembering the story Martin told me how the luna died.

"He promised them Lizzy should he fail to deliver the information regarding Blackwood pack's weakness they came looking for her " he adds my blood feels like it was dragged out of system ,my father wouldn't do that to me can he , he was a great father towards me and never showed any sign of being that.

"When they confronted me i didn't have a choice but tell them where you are Lizzy ,am sorry they threatened my mate and i couldn't do anything risking her life,as soon as they left i knew i had to come see you but along the way i was attacked by two rouges ,i gave out a pretty fight but unfortunately they did the same ,i gave my all energy to run here" he said before the doctor walked in to stop him ,making sure he saved his energy to heal,i left promising to visit the next day , the whole information that i had been given this day was too much for me to process immediately i needed time,one my father was the cause of thousand of lives dying , my Mate grew up without a mother because of my father,he sold me for what,i still have questions to why he did what he did , curious if alex knew about this in the first place,if so then why would he let dad do it, i wiped my tears away before brushing my hands together, my body woke up from the somber mood as the sparks erupt  on my body shocking me like electric volts,the effect would never change ,he wrapped his arms around me brushing his hands from me up and down ,he turned looking at me before he pulled me to a tight embrace ,a reassurance embrace that everything will be fine.

"Go take a nap you have a long way to go" he said cupping my face into his palms he wiped my tears.

"Where am i going,will the pack be safe" i asked he closed his eyes for few minutes breathing heavily.

"Am not going to say where you going because the are prying ears around but i promise a friend of mine will take good care of you, you will be protected" he answered.

"The pack" i said letting it hang on air and he should figure out what i mean.

"You my first responsibility when you safe and protected i will focus on protecting the mothers and pups" he said before i felt vomit forming on the pit of my stomach this was a lot , i even felt dizzy, my hands involuntary fan myself as i started feeling hot all of a sudden , before i knew it ,it hit me , i had already had my first shift one thing was missing.

"Excuse me" i said before running to the toilet i had located earlier in the hospital , i locked the door behind me.
