The smell getting stronger and stronger determination that i was getting closer,my ears could detect the howling from afar , i forced myself when i was in the clear seeing my mate standing right at the borders with just 6 of the warriors that were guarding the borders, immediately he detected my presence because he turned almost immediately as i drew air to my lungs heaving,his eyes widen in shock seeing the sight of me before he ran to where i was the rouges were now closer and i couldn't detect Alex anywhere near them.

"Lizzy what exactly do you freaking think you doing ,turn back now, he said warningly but i stood my ground waiting for him to finish.

"Please don't kill him" when he was done i said softly and his eyes soften too before masking it yet again.

"He betrayed my pack" he said after couple of minutes of silence i stepped forward my small frame nothing to his big black wolf.

"He still my brother" i responded honestly no matter what i couldn't let them kill Alex

"I'll make a plan" he said bringing his face closer to mine before putting it above my head brushing his head on my fur, the different smells that filled my nostrils told me that our warriors had arrived ,he turned looking at the already rouges attacking, my eyes scan around the place watching blood spill.

"I can defend myself" i said watching Jas standing right on my side protectively,ready to attack whoever came to attack.

"You've never killed before stop distracting me am trying to find a way for you to leave"he said not daring glancing at me but straight ahead,his pack was already ready to defend. The rouge jumped onto him aiming right at his throat but he saw the movements before he could even sneeze, not dissappearing from my sight he fought with the wolf reaping his throat apart, i physically flinch like am seeing the side of him for the first time, i felt like i didn't know him but yet again i didn't know him, i watched him kill without blinking twice,this was weird with me standing right in the middle of all this,i looked around yet again Alex wasn't on the sight only the painful howls from the pack that made me yet again flinch, Josh made sure he never loses the sight of me , before i could register i felt a sting right on back legs before i was thrown right on the tree my back sting like hell, i opened my eyes after the fall seeing the figure standing right above me ,i spotted Josh following right on the ground, that was the only chance they needed before i felt a sting right on my stomach burning my inside ,clearly the stranger had no intentions of harming me i took that chance and went right onto his foot making sure my canines dug deeper,he tried wiggling his foot but i held on tightly, satisfied i brought my head back reaping up his feet in the process , he fell persuit down his blood gushing down the floor howling in pain before he lost the stregth he had and closed his eyes i breath out in relief ,finally i sported Alex but i was the only one because everyone was busy , Josh fighting his way to get to where i was ,i ran after Alex seeing he was leaving the borders i forced my injured feet to run after him,as soon as i land my feet on the floor i swore it felt like my leg breaking into two,i forced my feet down and continued my run ,seeing i wasn't giving up he stopped and turned to look at me ,the was visible distance from me and the pack and should he decide to do something no one can come to my rescue but i trusted him.

"Why are you doing this Alex,why taint our fathers image"i asked he walked to where i was standing.

"I thought i told you to not come back till everything is over"he said seeing my injured foot,now that i was putting pressure on it ,it felt like hell. "I never tainted fathers image what i said is true" he said looking at the blood trail i left behind.

"If you don't leave now they will kill you" he said but i needed answers ,i wasn't going to back down.

"So you thought leading them to where i was would be a good idea " i asked his eyes soften immediately.

"I would never do something to hurt you pup, i just lead them there to kill people who lead to our parents death hence i wanted you gone" he said softly i scoffed.

"Then what, Blackwood dies and am left with no protection and the rouges continue looking for me" i said he opened his mouth to say something but closed his mouth again.

"You didn't think about that did you" i said tilting my head,seeing that my foot wasn't having any of this i decided to crouch down.

"I was going to protect you " he said i scoffed at his sentence he himself couldn't believe his words.

"How ,how would you protect me from 200+ rouges" i asked he kept quite bowing his head in shame "tell me the truth nothing but the truth" i said.

"Dad needed money, our father served the alpha titus for years and when our father needed him he turned his back,tell me is that how a alpha behaves isn't the Alpha suppose to help his pack when they in need " my heart sank into my stomach "my father was loyal to the point of he sacrificed himself,the rouges offered him a deal even when he needed the money he turned it down,the death of luna Rose  wasn't intentional, it wasn't suppose to happen ,it was something that i talked to her but things got out of control and..."he closed his eyes backing away.

"You killed her,father never killed her did he" i asked he turned looking away from my eye sight.

"It was an accident she was suppose to give in not actually challenge me,father sacrificed his whole life and everything taking a fall , he was suppose to be killed too as a punishment but i broke him out of the bars, he couldn't just die like that not when mom was pregnant with you, that night we ran away from the pack leaving everything and became rouges father knew it would only be a matter of time before they find him ,he seeked help to Dante" it was like listening to a story, i tilted my head in confusion.

"The most powerful unmated Rouge in centuries, the first ever wolf the moon goodess had created, but he was deemed to be a dangerous specie and was to be killed, but she couldn't the moon Goddess, that was her first creation she couldn't destroy it ,thats when she ran to Morgan , the powerful which in century, she put a spell on him putting him in deep sleep so no one could find him, morgan died before even waking him up until 100 years ago when Dante finally woke up, it's still unknown how but he did" he takes a deep breath and looks at me "Dante is the most dangerous,most powerful rouge our parents turned to him for protection,because he was unmated they promised him your hand in marriage in exchange of protection"

"If he is as dangerous as you say he is Blackwood will die and how will you protect me ,Dante could ..."he shook his head.

"Dispite being the powereful wolf in the century he is forbbin from helping or picking sides thats how he was created people judged him without full knowledge of him, the protection was only to scare away the Blackwood not fight when time comes, hence our parents were killed,Blackwood figured everything years later that Dante is fobbin from helping "he said.

"Then why..."

"The war" he finishes my question "i might have twisted the story a little to anger the Rouges and told them about you suggesting no one should be deemed a rouge but actually be killed" he said i blinked  a couple of times before glancing back.

"Leave" i said closing my eyes "when they find you here they will kill you leave and never look back, leave this place and never look back" i continued he walked to where i was.

"I can't leave you here i can..."i shook my head closing my head again.

"When the rouge realise you lied they will hunt for you,Blackwood will hunt for you ,you a dead man alive i won't ever forgive you for the mistakes you made from killing innocent people to risking my life in the process you don't love me like you claim to do but that doesn't mean i want you dead "i said he shooked his head.

"I rather be dead than you hating me" he said i closed my eyes.

"If you love me you will leave" i said not backing down looking at him seeing i wasn't he turned his back to me.

"I love you, always had and always will hopefully one day i could get a chance to see you" he said before began running away from me , i watched his frame getting smaller and smaller by the second before he dissappeared, i stood up from the floor but was quick to fall on the floor because of the sensation that burned the whole of my body.

"No" i whimpered on the floor refusing to believe what had happened but my body sting felt the sensation burning through my skin crawling under it.
