chapter 27

I stayed three days in hospital ,the longest three days of my life until the doctor deemed me enough to go home,the happiness i felt to be away from the horrible smell of hospitals and creepiness , somehow laying there and doing nothing had brought my thoughts to Alex ,the last time i spent time with him i was angry and didn't say proper thing now i regret it,i regret everything i wish i could see him,i wish i could talk to him i know he would be happy to see Caelan but he wasn't here, i was alone, well i felt that way but now i knew Caelan was here he would be my sanity,he would always have my corner even though he was still too young now to understand but i know he would, i had wondered if my parents would be proud of me when they see me, i had no time to process the words Alex said the last time we were together but thinking about them my heart sank onto my stomach breaking into peaces and getting restored yet again , a sigh left my mouth i had no direction i didn't know anymore what to do but i knew Blackwood wasn't my home, emotionally and physically i was drained ,i was tired Caelan didn't deserve to be raised in this environment,for the whole three days i had been in hospital not once had Josh came to see me , that too me was validated how much i mean nothing to him.

"Welcome home pup" Martin said opening the door for me,i gawked at him he chuckled immediately at that. "Oh fine i was referring to Caelan" he said i knew he was lying i shock my head as i walked inside my eyes scanned around the room ,i could hardly recognize my room anymore ,not that i didn't like it because it was better than i had thought, it was now accomodative towards Caelan.

"Your mate thought he should be thoughtful for once and let the room be accomodative towards the pup" he said walking inside putting the baby bag on the bed ,the room had now baby pictures , because it was bigger than the cottage i lived in once , the was a blue baby crib on the corner and the whole corner was painted blue and the was a white closet i put caelan on my bed before walking to the closet i open it ,the top shelf had nappies that would last him the whole year, second shelf was his warm jackets and rompers hanging , the bottom shelf was the remaining clothes he needed , the left drawer had his bathing essentials and some wipers that too would last the whole year, not far from it was a cardboard that had everything he would need to feed him but some where unnecessary he was just 3 days old plus i was breast feeding.

"You like" i turned forgetting Martin was here i was too mesmerized by everything in the room i forgot about him.

"I love them thank your Alpha for me" i said he nodded immediately turning to leave but turn back yet again.

"Can you be patient on him for a while ,the Luna's death still hurted him he never dealt with that pain" he said i nodded at him dismissive before he turned to me and settle down before patting next to him."have you ever heard of Amethyst wolf" i shook my head at him he sigh

"Is the a reason why in particular you would ask that" i asked he rubbed his eyes he looked tired  you can say. "You look tired " i said he nodded.

"Well at the beginning of time,not exactly beginning but i could say close to that, a wolf was for the first time mated to witch " he stopped for few minutes " that was the first and last time a wolf was mated to a witch they got pregnant and had a children the first white wolf started they were named Amethyst pair because they were blessed with healing powers and telekinesis ,as time went by people wanted to use it for bad and they had to give it up but they didn't, it is said one who is deserving will be born as Amethyst they most of the time born as pairs one holds the telekinesis and the other heal powers so may i ask when you had your first shift who was with you" he asked.

"Well it was me and Alex and no he is not my twin i would know besides even if he was hiding he had shifted way before i did" i said he nodded.

"Amethyst pair can't have first shift without each other which means you a single which is born 1 in 100" he said i chuckled.

"You think am..." i shook my head at that

"Have you thought why Caelan was healthy yet you continuously drank wolf bane because that was were your mind was , making sure he was unharmed " he said before standing up and left leaving me to process the information i had

"Oh and yes am tired someone decided to let Aaron go besides the Alpha too cant defy the decision the Luna made" he said i rolled my eyes

"if you need anything call me"he added before  he left after that.

The was a soft door knock that made me open my eyes coming face to face with Josh he was standing at the door ,he slowly walked in.

"Hey" he said plopping on the bed looking at the sleeping Caelan his eyes soften as he brought his hands forward and brushed his face making him stire.

"How are you settling in" he asked not turning his eyes towards me but still on Caelan, i had a feeling we will get along he was a quite lazy child too , he didn't cry much often , he pushed his finger toward his holding his little hand.

"Am settling quite well " i responded before silence stretched among us , i scanned his face for anything but only emotions he displayed was pure love.

"Your ceremony to be crowned as the Luna will be on the full moon which is in two weeks time" he said i felt my heart beating twice would they accept me "and Alex had been captured "he said i brought my eyes to him.

"What" i said immediately.

"The other pack located him first he did cause some trouble "he said i crawl to him holding his hands its been long since i felt those sparkles.

"Please don't let them kill him" i said holding tightly his hand he looked aside i knew he would say no his reaction told me that.
