Once I'm inside of I and Kim's beach cabin, I'm fuming and feeling even more frustrated compared to before.

Flashback

"So, what was that about huh? I left for a few minutes and you already had Kai all up in your face?" Lucas's voice comes out in something akin to a sneer and it has me reeling from how silly he's being over it, however, I shouldn't have expected differently, but it seems to make sense. "You just left without saying anything and when I came downstairs Kai was being Kai," I give Lucas a pointed look and roll my eyes.

I could hear the annoyed sigh coming from Lucas and his eyes look at me briefly as we take our time to walk back to me and Kim's place. "Anyways, are you coming later or not?" The handsome male finally speaks up, his hands occupied and shoved down inside of his tight pants pockets and he's not sparing me so much as a glance. No matter how badly I feel to reach out and grab his hand and intertwine our fingers, like earlier while we were in bed. However, I refrain from doing so as I look down at our feet and I shrug my shoulders briefly. "Maybe, I'm not sure yet."

Scoffing out a little, Lucas finally reaches out and grips onto my hand right before we've arrived at the front of our cabin, tugging me into his arms and bringing his large palms down to my slender waist as he looks down at me. "Hey, before you go inside, can I get a kiss? I may not even see you later at the beach party." Once he says this, his face comes closer to me, "sure..." I finally murmured, feeling a mix of complicated emotions erupting over my entire body. As soon as his lips find mines, that puzzled feeling dissipates into something fiery and raw as passion overrides my system and I'm leaning up to kiss him just as desperately and needily.

As our lips part, my eyes finally flutter open as a shaky breath emits past my tiers as I look at his ethereal features from this close up point of view. "Do whatever you want to do Y/N, as Kai rightfully said, it's not like you're an object and belongs to either one of us. So, you have the free will to choose who you'd prefer to be with. If that's the case then, so be it that you're attracted to both of us, shit happens Y/N, this is just a summer fling anyway, not like we'd be seeing each other after this baby girl." With a little smirk gracing his lips, he looks at me with an aloof look, the one he usually gives around others, but here we are alone with each other, so no need for him to be playing the 'cold, tough guy.'

"Right," is all I'm murmuring as I remove myself from his hold and move away instantly not wanting to stay longer than necessary in his hold. What I didn't know obviously, was the Lucas looks on longingly at me as I shut the door behind in me in the cabin, bumping into Kim briefly and making a lame-ass excuse about needing to lay down and that we would talk later.

End of flashback

As I lay on my bed, my stomach grumbles from the hunger invading my system, but disbelief and annoyance keep coiling in the pit of my torso that I find myself not even finding the motivation to grab something to eat. 'Knock knock,' I hear the rapping of Kim's knuckles drumming against the wood structure that's the door to my room. Shifting upwards into a sitting position, I lean my back against the headboard, "come in." Is all I say and she zooms in quickly, not a second after she's tackling me into a hug and it's a bit uncomfortable; seeing as I do remember how she tried with Kai last night as well but I do need someone at this moment and Kim is the only one here so, I find my limbs wrapping around her as I bury my face into the crook of her neck.

"Hey, what's wrong baby? Talk to me," Kim whispers as she plants a kiss to my cheek and pulls back to look at me intently. "Is this something to do with last night you and Lucas disappearing and leaving Kai alone to get drunk?" She's giving a knowing look as her lips pull into a wry smile, "ugh hush, it's annoying and complicated, to begin with."
