U.N.S.C. WIND POWER FACILITY. PRESENT DAY...

Washington and Alpha walks up to Carolina, who is standing by a generator.

Washington: "Looking for something?"

Carolina: "Leads, information, anything. You guys said Maine had been through here, right?"

Alpha: "Well, yeah, but that was ages ago."

Carolina: "Then look closely. Don't tell me hanging around those morons has turned you soft."

Alpha looks at Carolina, surprised, before shaking his head. Wash silently glances at the two.

Tucker, Tex, South, Aur'an and Epsilon are seen sneaking in on a balcony above.

Tucker: "Hey, she said morons, that's us."

South: (Quietly, but angry) Will you be quite, for like- I don't know, 30 seconds?!"

Cut to the three freelancers down.

Washington: "Well, Meta was attempting to transfer energy from these turbines into his suit. It was the only way he could keep his equipment running."

Carolina: "Huh, poor Maine."

Alpha: "Carolina, it wasn't your fault."

Carolina: "But it was my A.I."

Washington: "None of us could have known what would happen."

Alpha: "Yeah, C. Nobody knew that the project was going to fall, and everyone's going to die eventually because of it. It's not your fault, okay?"

Carolina: (dry chuckle) Yeah? Well sometimes I'm not so sure."

Washington/Alpha: "What?"

Carolina: "We were told that the A.I. were specifically designed for each of us, right?-"

Alpha: (murmuring) "Not, all of us."

Carolina: "-North was chosen for Theta, York had Delta, but Sigma was mine."

Washington and Alpha exchange looks.

Washington: "What are you saying?"

Carolina: "You really think the Director didn't know what would happen?"

Alpha: "Carolina-"

Washington: "-that's ridiculous."

Carolina: "He always had his little experiments. He just forgot to take a few extra variables into account."

Carolina let's out a low growl.

Washington: "And what about now? The whole world thinks you're dead. Do you think he knows you're coming for him?"

Carolina: "Yes, I do. And for once, I look forward to proving him right."

Alpha: (Sighs) "The Director was always hard on you."

Tucker: "Dude, he said hard on. Bow chicka-"

Epsilon: (Whispering) "Shut up. They're gonna hear you."

Alpha's head perked up slightly, hearing their conversation. With a bit help with his A.I.s. Alpha couldn't help but groan internally, but at he same time trying not to laugh or snicker.

Carolina: "He was hard on all of us."

Tucker: "Oh come on, you've got to let me have that one."
