The first thing I noticed when we gathered in front of the freshman today was the Nong who gave away his name tag has miraculously found a new one. Ah this must of been what Ai'Arthit was thinking of when I saw him after the last meeting, but the question is why? Didn't this freshman constantly challenge his authority and damage his pride. I make a mental note to ask Ai'Arthit later.
We will be teaching the freshman about unity. Unfortunately for them today is very hot and the sun is scorching down on us. The freshman in front of me are already dripping with sweat.
Ai'Arthit addresses the students.
"Turn around see my friend at the other side of the field ... You have to run to him then form the new line in 3 minutes, if you slow down will be punished by the amount of time in seconds. understand!!"
"understand....khrap." The freshman shouted
That is when the time started. I watched these young man and woman making there way across the field desperately trying to stay in line and beat the time limit that have been given to them. I felt sorry for them as it reminded me of our freshman year, but I had to refocus as this is for their own good.
Obviously this task was not going to be easy, and time ticked away. The freshman are being punished by doing sit up and sit down exercises every time they are not in line properly or missed the time limit.
I could from my position see the sweating and panting of the freshman. They are starting to run out of energy. I could see Ai'Arthit looking at the students and walking around the rows of freshman. I could clearly see where he was heading. There is young woman panting more and more, but before Ai'Arthit could make it to her. She collapses.
Ai'Arthit runs for the student. I am very thankful that he was head hazer because watching him take control of the situation was inspiring. Calling for the nurses, and keeping the rest of the freshman in line.
I could see the students finally felt sympathetic for their peers. That is what we wanted along. After the young lady was taken away to the nurses station Ai'Arthit took control of the students once again.
"I told you so. If you don't know how to take care of yourself. I can not take care of your life. If this is the case, if you collapse in the middle of the field? I will leave you right there. And the rest of your friends will secretly be punished for you!"
We watched as freshman put their hands up requesting assistance from their peers. Good. Now they are united in a common goal.
Ai'Arthit let them start running once again. The light of the sun started to fade, so the meeting was called to an end."Okay... today is enough. I think you guys know more cheer unity. Next time, don't forget. If you forget I will start teaching you again from the beginning! Break the line!"
The freshman all quickly left the field. My stomach was screaming for food when I turned to see Ai'Arthit meet up with the nurses. Just as quickly I saw him leave the field. I guess, something urgent came up. To my left, I saw Ai'Bright trying to convince Ai'Toota to run lap around the field for his health. God bless Ai'Toota he whacked Ai'Bright so hard I thought I could hear his skull crack. We all made our way to the hazer tent for our dinner. Ai'Arthit was back, but looked annoyed. P'Minnie was in the tent speaking millions times an hour to A'Fang about the freshly moon. When I got near enough I heard who they had chosen, Kongpob. I let out a chuckle and looked Ai'Arthit again. No wonder you are in a foul mood.
