It's Wednesday and Arthit has been stressing everyone out. He is snapping at everything anyone of us does. Prem, Toota, and Bright have decided to study at the cafe instead of the library. Here is a little insight into the situation.

"Hey, Arthit can you pass me your notes for this subject? My notes are not clear enough. Thank you, friend!" Arthit grumbles as je hands Toota the notes. I was teaching Bright, how to do one of the problems since he was having trouble. "You move the z to this side by switching these two variables." "Dude, you are such a great teacher! I totally understood that!" "CAN YOU BE LITTLE QUIETER! I am trying to study!" Shouted Arthit. "Ai'Arthit, why don't you go fetch yourself some Nomyen. You seem to be very stressed!" I replied. "Fuck you Ai'Knott. I am perfectly fine!" "Okay... I won't be saying anything again...." Bright gets up from his seat, "Hoy, Ai'Arthit that wasn't very cool! You should know Ai'Knott is always helping everyone out!" "If you have a problem with not being quiet in a library then leave!" Bright quickly packs up his bags and motions to Prem and Toota as well. They move out of the study room and I received a text a few moments later that they had gone to the cafe and if I wanted to come I was welcome... without Arthit.

I glanced over at Arthit and I see the dark circles under his eyes and flicker of confusion. I get the nerve to try to speak again to the grumpy beast. "Hey, Arthit want to take a walk for a bit?" He looks up from his book and sighed. "Yeah. I need a breather." We leave our books on the table and head towards the cafeteria on campus. I see him sit down at one of the tables. "Ai'Arthit, I am going to order some drinks, okay?" He says "Sure. Go ahead" as he lays his head on his arms.

When I come back to the seat Arthit has not changed his position. I put his favorite drink in front of him and I received a slight smile. I take this as he is beginning to loosen up. Maybe I could get something out of him and find out what is bothering him. "Ai'Arthit, is there something bothering you? You can tell me anything, you know I won't tell a soul." I was expecting to hear raging words from Arthit's mouth but instead, I heard a loud moan.

"Kongpob" "Huh, what about him?" "He has decided what he wanted to use his reward for." I looked at him puzzled. Was it that bad that he is taking it out on everyone? "What did he request?" "He wants me to hang out with him on Saturday.... that's it.... nothing else! What the hell!" I honestly wanted to laugh out loud. This is what has been troubling Arthit. "Let me get this straight are you angry that he is not going to punish you? Or do you find hanging out with him a punishment?" He looks at me as he scrunched up his face. "I don't know. He always surprises me. I never understand where I stand with him. I never felt this way with P'Tum...." "ah I get it. You want to have a relationship with him like you and P'Tum right? That explains everything! like why you are always together!" Arthit looks at me and his ears have a faint pink hue. "Don't you dare laugh! Just because I told you and I feel a little better doesn't mean I am not still in a foul mood." "Okay.. okay! We should pack up our things and go find our friends. You need to apologize. Understand?" "Khrap, Khun Knott!" I shake my head as we leave the cafeteria in better spirits.

Saturday morning... my favorite day of the week! I have no plans with my friends today. I look around my room and decided to tidy up the place. I quickly grab my dustpan and broom. My laundry is outside hanging and my place smells clean. It is time to have something to eat. My fridge is usually pretty full, however today it is pretty empty. This is what happens whenever Prem and Bright come over. They clean out my reserves. This means I have to go out today. I heard my phone go off in my bedroom. I run for it and noticed who is calling, Toota.

"Swadee Ai'Toota" in a low voice Toota responds, "Ai'Knott, I'm at the mall today and I just saw Arthit. He is with Kongpob. I'lll text you the picture! "I heard a buzzing coming from my phone. I switched the call to the speaker as I look at the image. Toota continues talking,

"Omgosh, Kongpob is dressed like a prince

"Omgosh, Kongpob is dressed like a prince... why doesn't he ask me to go to the mall...(he is whining)" "why does it matter. Can't they hang out?" "No! My gut is telling me something else is going on... I want to follow them some more, but they will definitely notice. Why don't you come to the mall? You need to confirm my suspicions." "Ai'Toota, what type of suspicions are you talking about. You are not making any sense." "Knott... you know I am gay.. right... I just have a feeling that Kongpob..." "Kongpob is what?" "Shit... I think Ai'Arthit might of saw me. I have to go bye!" Dial tone.

What the hell was that! What does Toota being gay have anything to do with Kongpob and Arthit. I already know about what is going on with them and it's nothing romantic. Geezus, I have such strange friends. I receive another image, from Toota, all it said was, this is as close as I could get. You can't tell me nothing is going on!

I returned to my room when I received a call from my mother asking for me to come back home. So I grab my backpack and stuff it with some essentials and head out. While I was on my ride home my phone keeps buzzing away. I pull over when the traffic was safe and see two messages from Arthit.

Knott,
A pipe burst in my apartment. Can I stay the night?
Arthit

Knott
Never mind. I found a place to stay.
Arthit

I texted him back quickly.

Arthit
Sorry, at my parent's place. If you need help just let me know! I will come back early tomorrow.
Knott

I hope everything is okay with my friend, but I can't head back now. My Mae was waiting for me. I begin my descent once again leaving the big city behind.

Monday morning... I hate Mondays, but I hate it more when Arthit is being depressed. I am almost ready to do a chokehold on him until he tells me why his face looks like death. Throughout the day, I have not heard him say anything. He barely eats and whenever Kongpob comes over he is gone. When I try to bring it up, he just shrugs and leaves. What the hell happen? Did they fight on Saturday? Did he make him do something embarrassing? All these questions, but the only person who could answer them has clammed up.
