Aim - Learning Something New

I made my way from Kong and began looking for our seniors. I don't particularly like talking to them as they still freak me out. I am thankful I had enjoyed a few drinks prior to Kong's revelation. I don't understand how I had not noticed that he was dating our head hazer not this self proclaimed studying. Kong... I am happy for you, but damn you could of told me. I wanted to say that a moment ago, but he seemed to be in such a great mood that I didn't want to ruin it.

My code line senior saw me as I was searching through the crowd for P'Arthit. "Swadee P'In!" "Nong Aim! I have a gift for you!! I went to my family's bakery and brought back a few desserts. I hope you like authentic Thai desserts." "Uh, thanks phi!" I am not really looking at this senior as I see Kong is still standing by himself, but I can tell he is getting impatient. "Phi, I'm actually looking for P'Arthit?" "Oh? Why him! I can't believe he is dating that guy.... what was his name? Korn....Knock....?" "Phi, it's Kongpob. Who is my friend and he has had too many drinks, so I am trying to find P'Arthit." "Right, Kongpob.... oh I saw him drinking with a friend not that long ago over in that direction, but they could have moved on by now.... are you going to come to the next code line dinner?" "Yes. Will do, khrap! I have to go phi. I'll talk to you later, na?" "Okay okay. Don't want to keep you freshman. Why do they have to be so busy all the time..." I heard him mumbling under his breath. This Phi is always like this.

I rush over, and finally I see our head hazers all standing around in a circle with none other than Kongpob standing beside P'Arthit. Like he was always meant to be there. I was just about to join the group when I noticed Kong dragging P'Arthit away from the group.

Woah. He is freaking brave. Maybe his drinking had helped him. I was turning my back to head over to where our friend group was hanging out. When I felt someone glide their arm over my shoulder. "Nong Aim! Where is my chocolate?" Ugh... I want to run away. P'Bright is definitely more easy going than the others, but he also finds every opportunity to bother me. "P'Bright. Swadee." "Nong. Hand it over!" He gestures his other hand. Let out a deep breath of air, and grab it from by pocket.

"Nong Aim, what is this?" "You asked for chocolate, right?" "This is one chocolate bar!!!!" He whined. "Phi, I don't have a lot of money, right now. Plus I bought you lunch two days this week!" "Fine.fine. I'll let it go." His face was serious and then it changed into something creepy. "Nong Aim?" Yes, Phi?" "Did you know about those two?" "Ummm.... are you asking about Kong and....?" Yes! Ai'Arthit. That guy really didn't tell us anything! Are you shocked? Do you think they are lying? Pulling our leg or something?" "P'Bright, I don't think they are. I have never seen Kong talk about anyone the way he did about P'Arthit." "Oooooooh, How did he managed to win over Ai'Arthit?" "Welll, ugh... they saw he each other at the end of the day... P'Arthit would stop by and Kong would leave with him. Kong told us he was helping him study." "They were studying alright... the subject of Love." He's laughing out loud hysterically at his own joke.

"Phi, I'm going to..." he grabs me by the wrist while tugging me into the direction that I saw Kong taking P'Arthit earlier. "P'Bright, we shouldn't..." "Nong, this is a treat! You are terrified of Ai'Arthit, right?" "....." "this is the perfect opportunity to shatter that by watching him getting all intimate with his faen!!" "Phi, this isn't right!" "Found them. Oh, perfect spot... very romantic... not a lot of people here... someone knows what to do..." he is whispering into my ear as we are hiding behind a table and potted plants.

I looked around at everyone else enjoying themselves and I am stuck beside P'Bright watching my friend and his boyfriend. I have not had near enough drinks to be doing this. I was just about to leave when I felt a pinch on my arm. I looked at P'Bright as he points towards the couple who are currently kissing. Oh gawd. This is worse then imagined. I feel like such a creep..... "Nong Kongpob, damn! He has fire in him. Nong Aim?"

My hands are covering my face. which I know is very red from being reduced to this low of behaviour and witnessing something that was private. "Nong Aim! If they wanted to have a private moment they would of left the party. They are declaring ownership of each other..." "ugh... P'Bright, how can you talk like that? This is your friend!" "My friend who has shown no interest in relationships, however today publicly announcing he is dating someone. I am excited....." "ummm, about what?" "Making Ai'Arthit uncomfortable with my endless teasing!" "I don't know if we would tease Kong about this as he is a pretty low key guy. Plus, he always wins in the end." "Exactly, they both are like this! Like right now, if Ai'Arthit saw me. I'm totally dead meat. I better start reciting prayers for our lucky stars."

"Wait.... you said he will kill you? What about me?" "You wanted to get over your fears. The best way is to look at it in the face." "P''Bright.... I'm leaving... I don't want to be apart of this..." as I turned to leave I backed up into the table which caused a few glasses to wobble. Then I heard P'Bright say, "Lovebirds! Stop staring into each other's eyes. Everyone else here may not be feeling as happy as you two!"

Idiot... thankfully I have moved far enough away to not be wrapped into the wrath I felt as P'Arthit books it for P'Bright. I can hear Phi chanting prayers while curse words are being thrown at him from the ex head hazer. I let go of my reservations I had about getting into the crossfire of P'Brights idea, when I hear a very familiar voice call out, "what are you doing, Aim?"

Dammmmm..... I can't lie worth shit. I rustle my hair as I try to think of a great excuse. "Ummm... well.. you see... I was looking for... you... and I" he laughs at me with no hint of anger, "what you are trying to say is you were with P'Bright?" "Kong.... you know I can't say no to him...I really didn't mean to... ugh... see you.. together." He rolls his eyes and smiles at me, "did you see everything?" He raises eyebrow at the end to enhance the dramatic sentence.

"I will not confirm nor deny any of the accusations made against me." With another laugh he pats my back, "you better go back to find May. You have been talking a lot, so why are you here and not with her?" "Kong........ I am dying for another drink or I will never be able to get over my embarrassment." "What are you embarrassed about?" "Kong , go back to your keeper. You are behaving like a lion ready to pounce on a target." "Currently, the only prey I have is P'Arthit!" "You're sick!" "In love!" "Go sweet talk someone else!" "I can't... he is currently taking out his embarrassment on P'Bright."

"Huh? P'Arthit was embarrassed?" I am shocked the guy who always looks like he is plotting everyone's demise. That guy can get embarrassed? "Actually, he is easily embarrassed. I think that is why I kept bugging him, but unlike P'Bright I was smarter about it." "Oh man.... you are forever going to be in the dog house!" "I am fine with that as long as I get a treat every now and then I will be satisfied." "Oho, you really are a dog... loyal, loving, and stupid." "Oh, P'Arthit!" I can see it on his face. My friend is completely head over heals for our Scary Strict Head Hazer.

"Umm Kongpob? Swadee, Nong Aim." I want to die... " ugh... Swadee P'Arthit. Nice weather, right?"  Kongpob is laughing hysterically at me, so I give him the stink eye. Phi, wasn't any better he was look rather uncomfortable and his hair which is tangled because of his ordeal with P'Bright. "Yes, the weather is good. Ugh... sorry! I'm not really good at talking like this" "P'Arthit, it's fine!! Aim is a great friend. You will realize that! Aim, remember what I told you!"

I remember you telling me a whole lot of information....oh is meaning the one about P'Arthit is kind? "Kong, told me... you were not coming today.... Kind of glad you did..." I smiled weakly, "otherwise, I would of had to dragged his ass to my apartment. He was drinking too much!" I watched as P'Arthit looked at Kong like he about to take him out the same way as P'Bright.

"Aim!! Really that is what you say! P'Arthit, I swear, I didn't drink that much! I was just trying to drink to enlightenment...." I stepped away as I see the two of them smiling while bickering like an old married couple. I guess, Kong was right. P'Arthit, is not as scary as I perceived him, but that doesn't mean I will go out of my way to start a conversation. I am still afraid of his bite!
