Currently I am studying for a test that was coming up. I don't really like cramming everything the day before. Unlike some of friends, so they are typically found at various bars and clubs each night. When my phone started to chime. This kind of startled me.
Of course it was a text message from Ai'Bright

"Dude, you have to come to the Freshy Star and Moon contest!"
"Aren't you curious who has caught Ai'Arthit eye!"
"Once I know... 55555"

"Ai'Bright you do realize if you figure it out and tease him for it. Ai'Arthit will hunt you down"

"Ai'Knott... I figured out a plan. He won't be able to lay a hand on me!"
Another text comes in. Why doesn't this guy just send one long message.

"So your coming right. Ai'Toot and Ai'Prem have already agreed!!!"

"Fine, but don't get me involved in your stupidity"

"You hurt me just like Ai'Arthit sometimes... anyway...see you soon"

This guy can be something else. I don't know how many times I've had to save his sorry ass. Why have I been designated the mom of the group. Sigh...
Ting

"Wear your hazer outfit! We want to intimidate the freshmen!"

I look at the phone, so I guess I have no need to change. Might as well just leave now.

When I arrived, I see Ai'Bright and Ai'Arthit standing near the entrance. Ai'Arthit looks throughly annoyed, and he keeps looking at this cellphone.

"Hey, I thought Ai'Toota and Ai'Prem were coming"

"We are here. You just walked right passed us, asshole"

"Sorry, Ai'Prem. I guess I was distracted"

"Can you shut up, or we are going to miss it" I watched as Ai'Arthit left us behind and Ai'Bright trying to follow after him. This is very interesting seeing Ai'Arthit getting irritable over something like this.

When we caught up Ai'Bright was telling Ai'Arthit a bullshit reason as to why we all came along. I could see Ai'Arthit was not buying it, but his attention was elsewhere. The stage.

Some of the talent that had been displayed by the other faculty students was starting to worry our group.

When our nongs of the engineering faculty finally came on stage. We were buzzing with curiosity. That was short lived as we began to hear the first song. All the students felt like they were back in elementary school singing and clapping along; I couldn't believe it. Why on earth would they choose that.

The second song was not any better, but it was little more mature. My problem with it was I had to bare witness to Ai'Toota dancing and singing along. If their goal was to engaging the audience with their performance, it was working.

When they began their final song. The lights dimmed and the feel of the music changed. As I stood there and watched in awe. Kongpob was singing the song from his heart. The feelings you got from this performance was the same as when you are receiving a love confession. Damn, this guy's gutsy. He confidently sang to the audience that he is wants to win over someone's heart. Even while the power was gone for a brief moment, and all that was left were the lights of the Audiences cellphones. The mood of this performance was incredible.

Every now and than. I would notice his eyes linger in our general direction, but realistically speaking with all the lights on the stage. He wouldn't be able to see us. I just marked it off as a coincidence.

As both Kongpob and Praepailin left the stage. I heard Ai'Toota mention that their Facebook photos were receiving many likes! Ai'Arthit scuffed at Ai'Toota saying "we might be screwed then!"
Instead of being supportive about this revelation Ai'Arthit began making comments that it was only the first round. What was his problem.

When it was Kongpob's turn for question and answer. I was holding my breath until I heard the judge speak "What is your opinion towards the SOTUS system which is being used to welcome freshman? Should it be abolished? And why?"
Fuck. He hates this system. That is why he fights with us every session. Ugh. I could see the distress coming from Ai'Arthit. We had not expected this type of question especially for Kongpob. The moment I heard his voice my eyes closed for a few seconds just to prepare for his answer.

My fears disappeared instantly when he began to explain in detail the positives of the Sotus system, but of course there are flaws in it. He could not say whether the program should be abolished or not. However, what he had recognized is that our actions had reasons behind it and the biggest one was to help freshman, survive the university with the highest potential. He gets it! I glance over at Ai'Arthit, he has this slight smile on his face as he claps. As soon as he stops he took out his cellphone and leaves. What the hell? Why would he leave now! The rewards are going to be announced now!

I was not surprised when Kongpob's name was called for the popularity vote since Ai'Toota was giving me updates throughout the show. When Praepailin's name was announced as the University Star I was impressed, but I watched with anticipation for the Moon. I wanted to see if Kongpob will take two for two. I knew typically they don't give both rewards to the same person, but I was still hopeful.

As they called out Kongpob's name for a second time and declared him University Moon! I was ecstatic! Our Nongs have won every event this year! I couldn't help, but laugh when Kongpob didn't hear his name the first time. All of us were surprised. Ai'Arthit never came back, so I texted him if he needed a ride back to his dorm. He replied with a single word "Khrap".

I was standing outside by the doors watching the many students and faculty leave the auditorium. I have been waiting for Ai'Arthit for a good ten minutes. Until I saw him and he looked quite flustered like he just ran a race. I ask him,

"Ai'Arthit, what's up with you!"

"Ugh, don't even ask!"

"P'Arthit... P'Arthit" I heard a familiar voice call out and when I turned I saw Kongpob running with his sashes.

"What are you doing Ai'Knott. Let's go."

"He is calling for you! You should talk to him first!"

"I already did... he is just going to rub salt in my wounds some more, so let's get out of here"

I felt him push me along, however I could see Kongpob was still calling for Ai'Arthit in the distance, but instead of trying to catch up. He just stood there.

"Ai'Arthit you need to spill. What the hell is going on with you Kongpob?"
