Chapter Fourteen

Levis pov

I shoot up, my breathing unnaturally fast. I feel a tear run down my cheek but I quickly wipe it away.

Why do I keep having these nightmares?

I sigh and look to my side to be greeted by Reese staring right at me. I look down at my hands in embarrassment.

"I'm sorry if i woke you." I watch him sit up and wince as i feel his finger gently lift my chin. He smirks and crashes his lips against mine. I freeze at first but slowly melt into the kiss. We continue to kiss for what feels like hours until i eventually pull away for air.

"Try get some sleep kitten." I stare at him as he turns over.

What just happened? I turn over and frown. Why does he keep doing this to me? I don't know how much more of it i can take.

I wish i had a normal life, i wish we both did. Maybe then he'd consider me... but why would he want to date someone like me. I'm so small and fragile and annoying and he's the complete opposite.

Apart from that last part.

I just wish he would talk to me. Is he just using me for his own desires. I mean he probably slept with a lot of girls in the past, so perhaps he's just using me to reach those needs...

I sigh. Why is my life so complicated? I wish i had the option just to start over again.

Two days later

Reeses pov

I walk back to our small camp and smile as i see Levi sat by the fire. "I got our dinner, i also saw a poster for a funfair a few miles from here. We should go tomorrow." He doesn't look at me, just keeps playing with the grass.

"What, like a date?" I smirk as i pass him his sandwich. "If you want it to be." He begins to mumble under his breath.

I walk over and stand opposite him. "Whats got you in such a bad mood." He frowns. "You keep toying with my emotions." I raise an eyebrow. "What do you mean."

He begins to pick at the grass, refusing to look at me. "The other day... that was the third time you've just randomly kissed me, immediately moved away and then not spoke about it." I smirk.

"Well technically we've only kissed twice, at the party we had to run away." His shoulders fall. "See! You act like its ok, and then just then you said it could be a date if i wanted it to be, having no real intentions of that being true. You're confusing me." He frowns.

"Does little Levi have a crush on me?" He blushes and looks away. "You want me to stop kissing you then? Fine, i don't care." He looks at me but stops himself from talking.

"Speak kitten." He covers his face with his hands and speaks so his voice is a little louder than a whisper.

"You know i don't want that." I smirk. "You can't keep playing with my emotions Reese. First you want to kill me and now you keep kissing me without any intentions on actually being with me." I raise my eyebrows.

"How do you know?" He looks at me sadly. "Well not saying anything after kissing me makes it clear you regret it or don't want anything attached to it." I shrug.

"Ok, tomorrow night, i'll take you to the fair and that can be our date." He frowns. "Reese don't do this." I sigh. "What?" He plays with his sleeves, still not looking at me.

"Don't call it a date just because i... i..." i smirk and move so i'm crouching next to him. I gently take hold of his chin and turn his face so he's looking right at me.

"Because you what Levi?" His face goes bright red once again. "Please don't make me say it." I smirk. "Kitten i have no idea what you're trying to say." He closes his eyes.

"Because i like you ok?" I grin and smash my lips against his.

I feel his whole body stiffen for a second until he relaxes. I smile into the kiss, his lips are so soft. After a few seconds i pull away. I smirk and don't move, just watch him.

He's adorable.

He looks at me then covers his face again. "Don't watch me." I smirk. "But kitten, i'm not moving away. How would you like to talk about it? Shall I mention how red you went, or how your lips are really soft or how-" before i can continue he kisses me.

He keeps his small hands attached to my cheeks the whole time, which is adorable. After a minute he slowly pulls away and lets go of my face. I smirk as he stands up, blushing harder than ever. He stands up and walks over to the tent with his sandwich. "Look whose kissing and leaving now. Goodnight kitten, i can't wait for out date tomorrow." He smiles and goes inside the tent.

I look over at the fire and smirk.

God i'm falling hard for him.
