Chapter Seventeen

Levis pov

"Just wait here ok?" He sighs and nods. I climb out of the car and walk towards the small store. I told Reese to stay inside since we have all of our camping supplies in the car and i don't want to risk having them stolen.

It's fun moving around, we move probably once every other week or something like that.

It's hard to count the days when you have no electronics or a calendar.

We haven't had a phone this whole time. The small amount of times we have called anyone it has always been on a payphone.

I grab a basket and begin to head around the isles. I look at my small list and begin to grab the items we need.

"Levi?" I turn around and smile as i see a familiar face. "Hey simon! what are you doing here?"

Simon was one of the only nice people who was with my old gang. Me and him were sort of friends.

He grins and walks beside me. "Well i left the gang. After you left and everyone caught on that you had something to do with what happened to micah they decided to hunt you down, so i left. What happened to him by the way? Also how are you? Where are you staying?" I smile.

"I uhhh... i dont know what happened to micah. Im good, I'm staying in random places, camping in random locations, it's pretty fun." We finish paying and stand outside the door.

"I can't believe you've survived this long on your own. How long has it been now? A year?" I think for a moment and nod.

"Yeah it's been a while, but i'm not on my own so thats why i've survived really, I definitely couldn't have done it on my own." He raises an eyebrow. "Who are you with?" I go to point over to Reese but before i can i see him storming towards us.

I tilt my head slightly, what is he doing? Is he angry? "Whose this?" I sigh at Reese. "Reese this is simon, one of the only nice person from my old gang. Simon this is Reese, the person i'm staying with."

Simon raises an eyebrow. "Levi why don't you come and stay with me? We should catch up." Reese glares at him and holds the back of my jumper.

"He's staying with me." Simon chuckles. "Cmon dude, me and him have been friends for so long." Reese smirks.

"He's stayed with me since he left and i'm his boyfriend so he's staying with me." Simon stares at Reese for a moment before looking to me.

"Boyfriend? Really? Damn, didn't realise you was gay Levi. I mean if you're sure about staying with him i cant force you to come with me. I guess i'll find you sooner or later and we can catch up properly. Here's the motel i'm staying at." He hands me a small piece of paper before walking away.

I smile and head towards the car, Reese slowly trailing behind. I open the car door and put the shopping inside and the moment i close it i'm spun around.

My eyes widen as his hand wraps around my neck and pins me to the car. Before i can say anything he roughly kisses me. I kiss back and it lasts for a while before he pulls away. I raise an eyebrow slightly and he smirks.

What was that about?

"Listen kitten, you're mine and mine only. I don't like the way that guy looked at you, i don't want you going near him." I look into his eyes trying to figure out if he's being possessive or is genuinely worried but i can't figure it out, so i guess both.

He slowly lets go and opens the door for me to climb in. As he begins to drive i sigh. "Reese, i'm going to see him again. He was my friend, just like danta was yours." He doesn't move as if he knows i'm right.

"If you see him i want to be there, ok?" I sigh softly and agree, knowing thats the best i'm going to get for now.

I trust simon, so hopefully Reese can eventually trust him too.

I smile softly while looking ahead. Me and Reese left around a year ago, meaning we've known each other for a whole year.

We've both changed so much.

When i first met him I struggled to get my words out to him or even form a sentence around him for a month or so since he scared me so much. But now, he's like a whole new person... well maybe not completely new, but he's changed so much for the better.

Me and Reese have also been... together together for the past month now which is insane to think about.

This is my first ever uhh r-relationship and it's going so much better than I thought it would be.

I just wish we didn't meet because of what happened that night.

That horrible night.
