Chapter Eleven

Levis pov

"Here." I shake my head and push the beer back towards Reese. He groans. "Kitten have fun for once." I shake my head. "Alcohol is gross, plus one of us has to he sober to save the other." He smirks and leans close to me.

"Aww kitten you wanna save me?" I sigh and push him away. "Hey guys having fun?" I smile as Dante walks towards us.

"Yeah but levi here won't drink." Dante laughs. "Don't worry levi, me neither." I smile at dante before he walks away.

"I'm going to dance, have fun being boring." I laugh as i watch reese walk away to dance ahead of me.

Drunk reese is a fun version of him, a version of him that seems like any other normal 20 year old. I wish we could both live a normal life, perhaps we would be friends.

It's been around two weeks since he killed that guy and he basically threatened to kill me and the next day he honestly acted like nothing happened. Maybe it was the heat of the moment type thing? I hope so...

I look next to me and pull a face at the couple that is making out super close to me.

I walk away and hop on top of a different bench and sit on the table part so i can see more of the party ahead. The party looks like any other party, a bunch of people, red solo cups and food littering the area and a bunch of people making out.

We arrived here like an hour ago and parked at the hotel Dante is staying at so our car blends in better.

I'm suddenly snapped out of thought when i see Reese walk towards me holding his head.

"Fuck I haven't been drunk in months." I laugh at him and he turns to me.

"What are you laughing at kitten?" I watch him as he walks closer and closer until he's stood in between my legs.

I feel my face heat up at how close he is. "Kitten gone shy?" I shake my head slowly. I feel his hands slowly run up my thigh and stop on my hips.

What is he doing?

"You don't know the kind of things you make me want to do levi, you bring out a whole other side of me. I hate it but love it. You make me feel alive amongst the dead." I smile softly.

"That's... nice." He smirks and leans closer. "You drive me crazy levi, make me feel all sorts of things."

"Reese y-you're drunk i-" before i can finish i feel a warm pair of lips connect with my jaw. He then lifts my chin slightly with a singular finger.

"You confuse me levi, i've never wanted to kill someone yet protect and love them at the same time." I feel my face heat up.

He continues to slowly kiss up my chin, while rubbing small circles slowly upon my hip. "Nobody has affected me this way before."

"Emotionally." Another kiss that shoots electricity through my bones. "Physically." And another.

He then leans close to my ear and breathes slowly, allowing his hot breath to send tingles down my spine. He then nibbles on my ear slightly before saying the last word.

"Sexually."

My eyes widen and i attempt to push him away. "R-Reese you're drunk." He stumbles back and smirks before moving forward. "Drunk words are sober thoughts kitten."

He moves closer, my hands still on his chest trying to push him away. He gets about an inch away and stares into my eyes.

"You confuse me levi. You make me want to be a good person, a normal person."

I stare back into his eyes, trying find some sort of sign that this is all lies, all a trick to humiliate me, but i find nothing.

He slowly leans forward until there is barely any space left between our faces.

I feel his warm breath dance against my lips and i inhale quickly. I close my eyes and wait for whats about to come.

But it never does.

"COPS!" I feel reese move away and cold air surround me. I open my eyes and look around.

"Levi we gotta dip." I nod. He holds out his hand and i stare at it, not sure if i should take it. I hesitantly do so and before i know it i'm being dragged through a crowd. I look down, making sure we both wont trip while he searched for who i can only guess to be Dante.

He quickly spots him and drags me towards him. "Dude can we crash with you tonight." Dante looks at us and nods before telling us to follow him to his car.

I look down and notice reese hasn't let go of my hand. We continue to sprint past the large groups of people and the cops that have now arrived. We quickly get to Dantes car and i laugh as reese pulls me through his car door, not letting go of my hand.

"God that was close." I smile and agree with dante. I look out of the window, watching the scenery fly past us. I feel my face heat up slightly as i see Reeses reflection, where he's just starring at me, hand still connected to my own.

What just happened?
