ok so before you all leave I'm going to tell you to stay and read all the way through. this is a description ok idk how to explain it!!!!!!!
ok. so, I've been watching a lot of youtube recently, and i started watching a few furry YouTubers. I actually really like them, and they kinda inspired me to be a furry.
BUT
first of all: they cost a lot. while I am also hoping to become a fursuit maker and make my own suit, it doesn't mean I don't have to pay for the materials and tools, plus all the tutorial watching (I watch Skyehigh Studios, they're great).
second of all: The maintenance. I've seen SO MANY youtube videos saying how much WORK fursuits are to take care of. You need to have some sort of special fursuit spray (I actually don't exactly know what that is but ehhhhhhhh), you need to know how you should wash your suit, because they're all made differently, and then you need to spend the time and effort cleaning it. it depends on how the suit's made, but i think all methods of cleaning fursuits are quite the task. Plus you need to wash them after every use. EVERY TIME!!!!! I know that if i got a fursuit, I'd wear it 24/7!!! but apparently I wouldn't.
third of all: I saw in one furry's QnA they were asked if they had an ideal age for getting a fursuit, and they said 18 because if you get one when you're too young, you'll grow out of it quickly. I think that makes a lot of sense, so for now I'm doing my research and practicing fursuit making. or trying to stop procrastinating it, anyway.
This might have been a weird chapter for some people but WHATEVER!!!!!!! if i want to be a furry once I'm 18 then you cant do anything about it!!!!
