Broken Promises (F.W x reader)

Four

Once I got into my bedroom I turned off the ceiling fan light and flicked on the small lamp light that is on the white side table. I knew I needed to go to sleep since school was tommorow but I couldn't sleep. I was tired, but with everything that happened today with Finn and the rules I felt uncomfortable. I tossed and turned for awhile until I finally dozed off.

I woke to my alarm screaming at me. I turned it off and layed there in bed for a few moments. The bed was so comfy and felt warm. I didn't want to get out and be attacked by the cold winter air. I knew it was gonna start to snow again soon since it was November.

Once I got out of bed I felt instantly cold, and tired. I decided to go to the bathroom and start getting ready. Once I got to the bathroom I opened the door, I relized the shower water was on but it was too late!

"Dad?" Finn asked. I didn't know what to say I felt uncomfy.

"No...sorry I didn't know you were In here." I said inching myself out of the bathroom. Next thing I knew he pulled back the curtain slightly, and peaked his head out of the shower. His cheeks were bright red, either from the hot steamy shower or embarrassment, I couldn't tell what reason.

"The door was closed! Don't you know how to knock!" He raised his voice at me. This was less like a question and more like a threat.

"I-Im sorry." I said rushing out of the bathroom closing the bathroom door behind me. I walked back to my bedroom and decided to get dressed first. What did I just witness is all that was going through my mind.

I decided to wear a pair of ripped black jeans with a oversized grey t-shirt layered over a plain long back sleeve. After about half an hour I went to the bathroom and the door was opened so I walked in. No one was in there so I flicked on the light and began to do my skin care and brush my teeth. I didn't feel like trying today so I just did a fishtail braid.

Then I walked down stairs. I saw Finn glance at me as I walked into the kitchen. Marry looked at me and so did Eric. Marry walked over to me with a concerned face.

"Y/n....we need to talk to you about something." Marry said in a kind but worried voice. Eric walked over to us.

"We need to talk to you right now its important." Eric said backing up Marry. I felt worried was everything ok? Did something happen? Am I getting adopted? The thoughts swarmed my head.

"Oh...ok." I said in a nervous voice. They walked over with me to the couch. We all sat down and Finn glared at me then rolled his eyes. What and asshole I thought to myself.

"Y/n, me and Eric have to leave for a week. It's a business trip." Marry said with a light smile. I instantly felt relief.

"Oh ok." I said with a light smile

"Don't worry we're gonna be back, and we're gonna leave some money for you and Finn to buy food with." Eric said smiling. I then realized why they seamed something worried. They were worried about me thinking I'm getting abandoned. They Probably thought this because the first three days after my parents died and I was living with marry and Eric I wouldn't let them leave the house or even go near a car.

"Are you gonna be ok, while we're gone?" Marry asked me in a mother like tone.

"Yeah I'll be fine." I replied. They both looked worry free and smiled at me.

"Ok good well you and Finn go ahead and walk to school." Eric told me. I got up off the couch and walked to the front door where Finn was.

"We're leaving in an hour so when you get home there will be no one here. Also NO party's I mean it!"! Eric said staring at Finn.

"ok have a safe trip." I said, and began walking out the door.

"Fine dad. Bye mom bye dad." Finn said waving bye as he follows me out the door.
