Broken Promises (F.W x reader)

Thirteen

Y/n POV:

The weekend flew by and now it was Monday morning. Yesterday was a lot of fun me and Finn just hung out all day together and got to know each other again. I really missed having Finn being my friend, and it's been nice having him back. The issue is, I want to be more than friends.

I went to the bathroom and curled my long hair, and brushed my teeth. I actually felt like trying today so I put on some light natural makeup. I was wearing a pair of light blue ripped jeans and fishnet tights under it. I was wearing a black long sleeve shirt with an oversized Vans t-shirt.

Then I walked down stairs. I saw Finn was eating at the dining table. He had a bowl of yogurt next to him and another bowl of yogurt in front of the chair next to him. He looked up at me and his face lit up.

"You look beautiful today.... you always look beautiful!" He said with a smile. "Come eat." He pointed to the empty chair. I sat down and began eating the yogurt.

"I can't believe the weakened is already over." I complained.

"I know right. It went by so fast." Finn said with a light frown.

"Finn? We're friends right?" I asked.

"Yes of course were friends." He said with a light smile.

"Ok. Good." I said through a wide smile.

After we ate we cleaned up dishes and went to brush our teeth again. Then we made sure all the lights in the house were friend off before we Locked up and walked to school.

~Finn pov:

On the way to school the cold air felt nice and refreshing. Today it was nice to walk with y/n because it wasn't awkward now that we were friends. I secretly was wishing we could be more, but I didn't want to rush her. Also I just got dumped by Sadie and I Probally shouldn't be in a relationship until I've fully moved on.

We arrived at school and y/n went off with Millie and Noah. I was glad she had Millie and Noah they were good people, and when we filmed Stranger Things they were fun to have on set. I met up with Jack and Jaeden. Sadie wasn't here today so it was just a guys day.

"Hey man!" Jack said as we walked over to the locker area.

"Hey." I replied.

"Friday nights party was amazing!" Jaeden added. Honestly the party was fun, but I was worried about y/n the whole time so I didn't really get drunk like everyone else's did.

I closed my locker and snapped out of my thoughts. Jaeden and Jack were talking about some girl who had walked past us. Then the bell rang.

"Wanna ditch?" Jack asked. I thought about it for a minute. It would be nice to ditch, and I mean y/n is fine she's at school. Also Noah and Millie can make sure she eats at lunch.

"Sure!" I answered them. Then we all grabbed our backpacks and left the school building.

~y/n POV:

It was lunch time now and I realized Finn, Jack, and Jaeden haven't been at school all day, which was kind of odd. They were Probally ditching the whole day I realized. I went to my locker and put away my binder. I saw a brown paper bag that had a heart on it. I opens the paper bag up to see a sandwich and some chips. There was a sticky note that had a note.
I read:

Hey! I packed you lunch and I expect you to eat it all! I'm so glad we're friends again! I can't wait to see you after school! Also since it's Monday I'm probably ditching! -Finn

I looked at the note, and thought how is this boy so cute. I grabbed the lunch that Finn packed me and sat down at the table Millie and Noah were eating at. They were talking about Finns party. They kept telling me how upset they were I didn't come with them to the party, I was contemplating telling them the truth.

I decided to not tell them about me living with Finn until I talked about to with Finn. The lunch bell rang signaling that lunch had eneded. I went back to my locker and grabbed my binder and headed to my last three periods. My classes were boring but they went by kind of fast.

Before I knew it the school day was over and I was grabbing my backpack and walking home. The walk was long and quiet. I kept looking down at my phone hoping Finn would text me but he never did. I just walked with my earbuds in. After about ten minutes into the walk i noticed a black SUV.

I didn't think anything of it because it was common to run into the same cars over and over again since I lived in a small town. After awhile though I realized I was being followed. I even took random turns around the neighbor hood and the SUV would follow. I was starting to get scared, so I called Finn. And he didn't pick up. Then I started speeding up on the way to Finns house and I increased speed so did the SUV!
