Y/n POV:
I could see a road after walking miles. Finn and I were panting at how thirsty and tired we were. Now the only issue was we had no car.
"How long of a drive was it to get home when you finished camping?" I asked Finn out of breath. He shook his head realizing we had to walk home.
"About an hour and a half drive." He told me in an exhausted tone.
"Shit! We will never get home!" I exclaimed. I had clearly lost hope.
"Ay! Don't talk like that. We will get home." Finn said in a reassuring tone. I shook my head no. I was so tired and I needed a shower. "Stop y/n! We will make in home." He was clearly annoyed by my negativity. I mean I get it, the only reason he was here right now was because of me.
"Finn, I'm sorry." I apologized.
"For what?" He asked concerned he then eyed me for a moment.
"Your here because of me. And I'm so sorry I broke the promise when I was 12." I burst into tears. Finn grabbed me and held my tightly.
"Shshsh." He cooed. "Baby, it's gonna be ok. It's not your fault we're here it's your parents. And when we were twelve you didn't break our best friend code." He seamed upset that I was blaming myself. He hugged my tightly and I let the tears stream down my face.
We sat on the edge of the road of a few minutes before I stood up and Finn let go of me. He stood up too and I held his hand. We were dead tired but we walked up the road. We walked and walked until it felt like our legs were gonna break. We were so hungry and tired but we trie sit ignore the feeling.
After walking about five miles me and Finn decided to sleep on the side of the road. He held me in his arms and covered my body with his. Before I knew it I was asleep!
