Broken Promises (F.W x reader)

Thirty five

Finn pov:

Y/n and I stayed up late tonight since we didn't have to go to school until this was all over. My mother called the school and said we were going out of town for filling. The school had my mom pick up all the school work for me and Y/n, for the rest of the month.

We stayed up until three am which explains why y/n was still asleep at ten thirty am. I woke up at about nine thirty am. I've been scrolling through Instagram and checking Snapchats. Jaeden kept sending me snaps to come hang out with him and Jack. I really wanted to, but I was stuck in 'lockdown' with y/n.

I was sitting on the right side of the bed on my phone when I noticed Y/n starting to wake up. She turned lightly then rubbed her eyes. She was now facing me when she sat up.

"Good morning, babe." I said in a welcoming tone.

"Morning." She replied with a groggy voice. I leaned in to kiss my girl, but she pushed me off. I was confused, why didn't she want to kiss me.

"Baby?" I asked her with a sad tone.

"Not untill we brush our teeth." She told me as she got out of bed. She began to walk twards the door so she would walk to the bathroom. As she left the room, I got up off the bed and rushed over to her. She was almost in the bathroom when I grabbed her hand gently and pulled her close to me. I then kissed her and leaned close to her ear.

"I don't care if you haven't brushed your teeth yet." I whispered into her ear. She laughed a little then I placed another kiss on her soft pink lips. After that I walked back to my bedroom and she walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind her.

I turned on my computer and looked at some of the assignments that were due by Friday. It was Monday so I had a whole week. Then I looked at the books that my teachers assigned me to read. I picked up one of the books before closing it again and putting it back on the side table.

I heard the shower turn on. Y/n was in the shower and I sat on my bed thinking about her. I was so glad to call her my girl, but I was hoping she was being honest with me. She broke my promises about not cutting, and when we were twelve she risked my life by breaking our promise.

*flashback*

"You promise, you won't tell?" I asked her.

"I promise. Now tell me what your doing tonight." Y/n said rolling her eyes.

"Well... I recently joined a group of older kids. They call it a gang, but it's not really a gang. Well basically I'm sneaking out to a party." I explained with excitement.

"A gang? Party?" She questioned with concern.

"Yeah, but it's not really a gang, and I'm not going to drink any alcohol so I'll be good." I told her with ease.

"Finn. This doesn't sound like a good idea!" Y/n was concerned and I didn't understand why.

"Y/n if I don't go....you wouldn't understand." I told her shaking my head. I knew that if I didn't show up at the party the older teens would think I'm not loyal to them. They would probably beat me up and try to kill me. I had to swear to them my loyalty before I joined the gang.

I then headed home to my house and y/n followed. She wasn't her usual cheerful self at dinner. My mother always had her stay over for dinner since she was my best friend.

After we were all sitting at the table I noticed y/n acting weird. She kept fumbling with her fingers and barely ate anything.

"Y/n? Everything ok?" My mother asked y/n. She looked up at my mother then looked at me. I didn't know what was wrong with her. Then she blurted it out.

"No, Mrs. Wolfhard. Finn is in a gang and is planning on sneaking out to a party!" She exclaimed! Wow she didn't even try to hide my secret. She broke my promise and I was angry!

"Y/n!" I yelled out at her. My mother looked upset hen turned to me.

"Finn is this true?" She questioned.

"Yes." I wasn't a good lier so I decided to be honest.

"Go to your room now! Your father will talk to you when he gets home!" My mother exclaimed! I then stormed up to my room knowing my gang is gonna kill me!

After about half an hour y/n came up to my room and walked in without knocking!

"I-I'm sorry...I just don't want you hurt." Y/n apologized, but I was too angry!

"Get out! I hate you and I will NEVER forgive you! Your a liar! You don't keep promises and your a.... a....a BITCH!" I yelled at her! Her eyes filled with tears then ran out of my room!

After that we only would see each other at school and I would be mean to her! I picked on her about everything and let my friends talk bad about her!

That was until I got back from filming the turning to find out she had moved in for awhile. At first she told me she was only staying here until her parents get back from a trip. Then she told me what she knew of as the truth; that her parents were gone.

*end of flashback*

Things were so different now I though. I was in love with y/n and her parents were alive! We were on lockdown from my parents because y/ns mother was a crazy person and was working with possibly the government!

Y/n walked back into my bedroom in a towel. She smiled at me then walked over to a bag that was on the floor. She grabbed our some clothes. Last night I had y/n pack a bag of clothes to stay in my room, so she wouldn't have to go into her room that had plywood on the window.

"I'm gonna change can you look away?" Y/n asked in a kind voice. I nodded then looked at the closed window.
