Broken Promises (F.W x reader)

Thirty

Y/n POV:

I woke up to Finn shaking me awake. I realized that the sun was high up in the sky and we were on the side of the empty road.

"Y/n we have to get home." Finn told me in a sleep voice.

"O-okay." My voice was really groggy. Finn seamed to think it was cute cause he blushed. Finn then stood up and helped me up to my feet. We began to walk up the road. The road was a straight narrow road that never seemed to end. There was forest on both sides of the road.

"We should be home before the sunset." Finn said in a hopeful tone. He eyed me for a minute and I gave him slight smile. We continued to walk on silence for about half an hour.

"Y/n?" Finn asked, breaking the silence.

"Yes?" I replied.

"I don't know if this is the best time to ask you, but I might as well because I don't want to wait anymore." He sounded nervous while saying this. I raised a question eyebrow. "Will you be my girlfriend?" Finn asked me. I then grabbed his hand and we stopped walking.

"Yes! Finn of course I will!" I said as I leaned in and kissed Finn on his lips. He kissed me back, then we pulled away. We held hands and walked up the road.

-Time jump-

We finally reached town after hours of walking. Finn was right the sun hadn't set yet. Not many cars were out, and I wondered what day it was. We finally reached Finns house. We used the secret key that was hidden under a rock near the front door.

"We're finally home." Finn said with a big smile as he locked the door behind us. We hugged each other then flicked on a light. We walked around the house and realized no one was home.

"Finn how long have we been gone for?" I asked trying to think back to how many times I went to sleep since we were missing.

"I don't know, but I'm gonna go check the missed calls to the house phone." Finn said as he walked into the kitchen. He then clicked play in the missed calls.

"Hi, the wolfhards. I'm calling to inform you that Finns and Y/n have both missed almost the whole week of school and-" Our Principle said but then Finn skipped the message.

"Y/n and Finn! I know you probably went home and I need you to know your not safe. The bad people will be there! They want your parents! This is Linda by the way." Linda said on the message. Finn looked at me then we looked at the window that was in the kitchen. Finn rushed over to it and closed the blinds.

"Finn I'm scared." I said. He then hugged me and told me that I shouldn't be scared because he was here. I decided that I was gonna go shower so I went upstairs and into the bathroom. The nice hot steamy water felt nice on my skin.

After my shower I went to my bedroom. My bedroom window was still bordered up with the plywood. I got dressed into an oversized t-shirt and pantys. I then went to Finns bedroom and sat on his bed. He went to shower while I just watched tv.

After Finn showered he changed into sweatpants and a t-shirt. He then went to his parents room and came back with a gun.

"That bitch took my other gun so Im narrowing my fathers." He explained as he set the gun on his bedside table. He looked at me and I nodded my head. I watched as he eyed my body. I knew he was staring at my cuts.

Finn then sat next to me on his bed and got under the covers. I did the same and I curled up next to him. My head was on his chest while he had one arm wrapped around me. His hands were running his fingers through my hair. I felt safe and secure, I honestly was in love with Finn. I then fell asleep as I cuddled with Finn.
