Broken Promises (F.W x reader)

Ten

Y/n POV:

Finn placed the soup in front of me and I stared at it for a minute.

"I will force feed you." Finn said coldly. I looked up at him then grabbed the spoon. I began to eat the egg drop soup. It was a warm and comforting. As I began to eat I realized how hungry I actually was. I ate slowly so that I didn't cause myself to get sick.

Finn watched me eat and smiled at me. He made me feel so happy. After I finished eating I looked up at Finn.

"I'm sorry." I said with a sad tone.

"For not eating. It's ok, I just don't want you getting hur-" Finn began to explain. "No. I'm sorry for breaking the promise." I interrupted him. He studied my face for a moment.

"I-I'm sorry I blamed you for so long." He paused. Finn studied my face then leaned in towards my face. My lips met his soft lips and we began to kiss. We kissed for about point five seconds then I pulled away. He had just been broken up with, so this was wrong.

"Finn, I never should of told on you it was dumb." I explained still feeling guilty.

"No, it was my own fault....I got involved with those dudes and if you hadn't told well then I might be dead." Finn explained trying to take the blame.

"I know but it was the only promise you asked me to keep, and I broke our friendship code." I felt awful and I was trying to explain to Finn that he shouldn't be sorry for hating me.

"Y/n. You actually followed the code. Remeber, the rule?" He asked eyeing me. I looked up at Finn and began to start our friendship code.

"We keep each other's promises always and forever, unless the other is in danger then the promise may be broken." I looked at Finn for a moment.

"Now the rest of our code we broke." He frowned. I raised an eyebrow. Honestly I don't remember the rest of the code.

"You don't remember, well the rest of the code was to love each other forever and be there for one another." Finns voice cracked a little. He sounded upset with himself. "But y/n, I'm not going to leave you ever again, ok. I'm gonna be here for you always!" Finn said with concern and relief in his voice.

I eyed him for a second then smiled. It felt good to have my best friend back, and This time he wasn't being a dumb twelves year old boy.

"Promise no more gangs?" I asked him with a light smile.

"Promise!" Finn smirked at me. "It's late, and we have to clean up the house in the morning." Finn told me. I nodded.

"Let's go to bed." I smiled at Finn as I washed out the dishes. 

"Y/n?" Finn asked me as he began to walk up the stairs.

"Yes?" I replied.

"Oh....never mind. Good night." Finn smiled at me then began to walk up the stairs.

Author note: I felt like this was a good place to leave off  for tonight! It's Sunday night so updates might not happen every night due to school but I'm gonna try! I love you all so much!
