Broken Promises (F.W x reader)

Twenty six

Y/n POV:

I kept walking around the dark halls and I was worried I was gonna run into the boss or a guard. I kept walking and picked up my pace. I took a right turn then a left. I continued down the hallways trying to find Finn. Almost all the doors were locked, so I couldn't get into any of the rooms.

I turned right then I bumped into something and fell on my ass. My heart began to race as I felt someone grab my arm and pull me to my feet. I squeezed my eyes shut, and wait for something to happen. But nothing did. I then opened my eyes and saw a tall figure in front of me.

"Finn? Please tell me that is you." I whispered.

"Oh few. I thought you were a maid." Finn laughed lightly. "I'm so glad I found you. Come we need to get out of here now!" He had a stern tone and didn't seam like himself. He seamed terrified.

"What about the code blue. Everyone is supposed to be in a safe room." I questioned.

"Yeah, we need to leave!" He said grabbing my arm and dragging me down the halls. He was practically running.

"Finn. Why? What is going on!?" I was so confused and the confusion made me angry. Finn stoped and turned to face me.

"I'm the reason the code happened." Finn told me taking a deep breath. "I heard what the bosses plan was and I got mad so I shot a guard with my gun, and now they want me dead!" Finn explained. He didn't seam upset or scared now. He seamed in a hurry.

"What is their plan." My question made Finn quiet for a moment. "Finn answer me." I raised my voice a little.

"They want to....they want to...they plan on using you as bait to either lure the bad guys to give your parents back. But if they don't have your parents. Well then they plan on sacrificing you to the bad guy so they will leave your parents alone." Finn seamed upset, and I was so lost.

"So everyone here is bad guys?" I asked

"Yeah pretty much." Finn said shaking his head. He then grabbed my arm and we both began running down the halls. We tried to find a way out then we reached the area with the rectangle cut out in the roof.

Finn boosted me up then he climbed up on his own. We stood up to see we were in a small house. I looked around for a moment and relized this was the living room. I noticed the couch was fake leather and there was a tv mounted to the wall.

Finn grabbed my arm gently and dragged me out of the room. There were windows that revealed we were in the woods. With the moon light I noticed how beat up Finn was. He had a black eye and dried blood all over his face. His knuckles were bruised and had cuts on them.

"Finn what did they do to you?" I whispered, but said it loud enough for him to hear. He ignored the question as if he didn't want to think about it.

"Over there, is our way out." He smiled then dragged me over to the front door. He unlocked it and we both walked out of the house. Finn closed the door to make it less obvious that we had escaped through the front door.

"Now where?" I asked. Finn looked around in all directions.

"Anywhere away from here! We need to get back home, and to do that we need to find a road." He shook his head then held my hand. He began walking around the back of the house then walked in a zigzag pattern. I assumed it would make it harder to follow our tracks.

After walking for a long time I noticed the sun was starting to rise.

"Shit!" I exclaimed to half asleep Finn.

"What?" He asked me quickly looking at me to make sure I was ok.

"We can't walk in the day light. Besides we need sleep." I told Finn and he agreed by nodding his head. We looked around and saw that the cabin or small house was no where in sight. We noticed a hallow cut down tree and climbed inside.

"We're gonna need food and water soon." Finn said as we sat in the hallow cut down tree.

"I know." I agreed with Finn. I then curled up with Finn and we both fell asleep.
