Thirty eight

Y/n POV:

I arrived at Millies house and knocked on the door. She opened right after I knocked. She hugged me tightly with a wide smile across her face.

"Man, I missed you! Where have you been? You haven't answered my texts and calls in weeks!" Millie said with concern. I didn't know what to tell her. I knew I needed to be honest with her.

"Mill, is Noah here? I need to tell you both some stuff." I told Millie.

"Yeah he's in my room." She smiled lightly as we walked up the stairs.

Once we arrived in Millies room I saw Noah siting on her bed. He was playing a game on his phone. Noah looked up from his phone and smiled at me.

"So glad to finally see you!" Noah said as he put down his phone.

"Yeah about that," I began. I sat down on Millies bed next to Noah. Millie then sat next to me. "I haven't been fully honest with you guys." I told them. They both exchanged looks.

"Basically my parents got in a car crash about a month or two ago. I've been living with the Wolfhards since after the funeral. Finn and I didn't get along at first, because the past. But now everything is good." I explained to them. I didn't want to tell them about my mom and dad faking their death just yet. I also decided to keep the fact that I was kidnapped a secret too.

"Oh... I'm so sorry for you loss." Noah said hugging me.

"I'm sorry y/n." Millie told me as she joined the hug.

"So is it weird hanging out with Finn?" Noah asked me raising an eyebrow.

"It was weird at first because he hated me, but now we're actually a couple." I said blushing.

"Awww so cute!" Millie exclaimed. Noah looked a little sad, but put on a smile. 

"Wanna watch 'Scream Queens'?" Noah asked. He didn't make any eye contact with me.

"Sure." Mille and I said in unison. Noah then grabbed the Xbox controller and scrolled down to Hulu. He clicked play on episode one and we all stared at the tv. (Each episode is like 1 1/2 hours long)

After about two episodes I realized how late it was. It was already midnight! I promised Marry I would be home before midnight.

"Shit! I'm sorry guys, I have to go I promised Marry I would be home before midnight." I told Millie and half asleep Noah.

"Oh ok. Be safe! We love you!" Millie said as she blew me a kiss. I blew one back to her. I then rushed over to her front door and left her house.

I walked the dark night streets alone and pulled my phone out my pocket. I checked to see all my missed notifications. They were all from Finn. Shit! He's gonna be mad!

Finn😍: y/n you ok?
Finn😍: y/n where are you?
*missed call from Finn😍*
Finn😍: y/n wtf please answer!
Finn😍: do you need me to call the cops?
Finn😍: y/n please fucking answer! If anything happened to you, I swear! I can't lose you

Man he probably thought that I got kidnapped again or some shit! I called him and he picked up.

Finn: "Oh my fucking god! Are you ok?!"

Y/n: "yes, I'm ok. Sorry for scaring you."

Finn: "where are you? Are you safe!?"

Y/n: "I'm heading home, yes I'm safe."

Finn: "where did you go? I was so fucking worried y/n! I woke up and you weren't here!"

Y/n: "I asked Marry if I could go over to Millies house."

Finn: "what? I thought we already talked about that....I thought we agreed you weren't gonna go."

Y/n: "Finn you agreed and I-"

Finn: "i just want you to be safe! Are you almost here?"

Y/n: "yes I'm almost hom-"

Finn: "you ok?"

Y/n: "Finn I ran into someone I-"

Finn: "y/n?"

Finn: "hello! Y/n?"

*the phone goes dead*

I stood there with my phone in my hand and feeling for my pepper spray in my hoody pocket. I felt my heart race as the figure got closer to me.
