Jess' POV
The guard took me to this empty room with windows and chairs all aligned. I assume that this is Satan's chamber. The guard then grabbed my wrists, hand cuffed me and tied me up in the chair.
"Why are you tying me up if I'm handcuffed?" I turned to ask him.
"Because I know you'll escape. You're the most wanted being in all the realm. Everyone is scared of you, and you missy, should be locked up for eternity, or better, dead." He spoke close to my ear and laughed at his taught. I shoved him away from using just my head.
"Fuck off, not everyone is scared of m-"
"That human girl? Not scared of you? Ha! Of course she's not scared." He interrupted me and pulled me closer again.
"She's terrified. You think she's nice to you because she gives a shit? No, she's just trying to get on your good side so that you don't kill her ass. And look, it worked. You're stupid, you're pathetic, you value over nothing Jess Swift, or should I say, Jessica Swift, say why did you go by your nickname huh?"
My blood began to boil and I clenched both my fists. This motherfucker is making me so frustrated.
"I have my own personal reasons as to why I wanted to go by that."
"Why? Because seeing your mom hang on a noose made you change?"
"Shut up! Shut the fuck up! You don't know anything! You hear me?! Fuck you! Stop please just stop!" I screamed at him, not caring if I'm throwing a hysterical fit right now.
"Oh but sweetie, I do know. You changed your name to your nickname as a coping mechanism. Is that true?"
I paused. How the fuck does he know? Nosey bitch.
"So what? Why do you care? It's still my name."
"Yeah but your dead family made you do it."
Let me explain why I rather be called Jess instead of my actual full name.
Growing up, I was called by my actual name of course. Shit, it was my mom's name. The more I thought about it, the more it made me want to strangle Satan so bad, even though we can't. I rather be called by my name Jess instead of Jessica, because it's still something to remember her by, without hurting myself too much. I have no idea why he knows that, when the only person I told was Sam.
Fucking asshole, why are you all up in my business?
"Fuck off!" I spit at him. He wiped the spit off my face and slapped me in the face.
"Too bad you're going to die anyway. Not so immoral now huh? Not so tough and shit." He ridiculed me and walked out of the chamber.
I'm so dead.
Sam's POV
We slowly crept through the dark hallways when we heard screaming coming from the end of the hallway. I turned to Manny, mentally asking him if he heard it too.
"Where is that coming from?" Manny whispered to me.
"I think a couple of doors down, do you think that's who I think it is?" I whispered. We all stood against the wall and waited. I turned and called Fiona's name.
"I'm right behind you." She answered.
"Alright we're going to have to get in there to see if she's in there, that scream sounds like her."
"How do you know for sure?" Manny asked. We were then startled by someone screaming, "I'm going to kill you, you son of a bitch!"
"Yeah that's her." I assured them. Then a door opened. We all hid around the corner and layed low, completely quiet.
I peeked out from the corner just a little bit and saw some guard walking out of the room. He started chuckling to himself.
What's so funny man? What did you to Jess?
I noticed there's some blood on his hands.
Please tell me it's not her blood...
We waited for the guard to pass and turn the corner to run into that room.
We slowly stood up and tip toed towards the door and Manny pushed it open just a bit.
In the middle of the room, we see Jess in a pile of her own blood.
"Who's there? Satan is that you? You fucking dick." She cried out.
I ran up to her and helped pick herself up. She looked up at me and began to cry.
"Hey hey don't cry." I pulled her close to comfort her.
"That's it, I'm going to die. It's good meeting you all." She cried out. I slapped her in the face, snapping her out of it.
"Don't say that, you're not going to die. We're here to save you." I told her as she held onto her face, rubbing the area I slapped.
"But Satan, he's expecting me.."
"Hey listen, you're Jess Swift. You shouldn't be afraid of any of this that is going on. Heck, I have a plan to get rid of him." I say as I help Jess up. She then looked at me in a shock expression.
"Are you crazy? How are you going to do that? Like what??" She asked. I opened up a bag that reveals a book on how to trap the devil. She still has the look on her face.
"No way, no one and I mean, NO ONE, has ever attempted to trap the devil. Ok now you're going to die."
"Oh stop losing hope man, this could work."
"Alright then, don't say I didn't warn you. So what's the plan?"
"We need to find a prison made of flesh..."
