("Important" stuff from the last chapter: YN was physically abused at home and beat up at school.Goo always came to her rescue.
To Goo, YN is the most important thing in his life.
Goo ran away from home when YN was 10. She went to search for him where Goo warned her not to go and was human trafficked.
She was taken to the The Academy where she was trained and became the best assassin.
She overthrew The Academy and made the new group.
The New Group are the kids she can control and they use their skills for good.
YN is the leader because she started it alone. Not many know who she is.
They have people all around the world, even in the government, medicine, police, entertainment, everything. It makes it easier to get away with things.)
On to the story!
I gave the bag one last punch and it flew off the hook. I watched it hit the wall and sand flew everywhere.
"Damn." I whispered and looked around. I shook my head and hurried away. I took a long ass shower and saw the sun was coming up. I put on some clothes and crashed on the bed. I covered my face and took a deep breath. I pushed all my emotions down and sat up. I brushed my hair and walked out of my room. I turned the TV on and just stared. I didn't pay attention but I hated the quiet. It's uncomfortable.
"Who the hell broke the punching bag?" Gun asked walking in shirtless, ready to work out.
"You did." I said not looking at him.
"I was asleep."
"You were asleep but still working out. Clean it up."
"I don't remember it."
"Because you were asleep."
He left and to my surprise, he cleaned it up.
Monday came around and I went to school. I wore some of the less expensive clothes Goo got me. I wasn't ready to drive the car.
It was an ordinary day. Everything was a blur. At night, I had to fight as Sargent Death.
I was so tired. I was tired of everything. Of life, of people, of sleep, of being awake, of eating, of starving, of being rich, of being poor, of breathing, of holding my breath, of smiling, of frowning, of talking, of being silent, of laughing, of crying, of listening, of ignoring, of fighting, of being peaceful, of standing, of laying down, of sitting. I was just tired of it. I wanted to stop existing. I don't want to kill myself, but I want to die.
If I just stop fighting and let them beat me... They're trying to kill me, why not just let them? I punch the guy in front of me, kicked the guy next to me, and broke the other one's arm. I sighed and looked at all the people who were out cold.
I looked up at the sky. Why am I here? Why can't I have a normal life? Why don't I just...stop? I don't know.
Ten year old me could never do any of this. Ten year old me is crying. She's asking why I'm hurting these people. She's telling me to run to Goo and cry and hug him.
I'm telling her to shut up. I'm telling her we weren't close to Goo anymore. We can't be. If we're close to him, he's in danger. Our enemies won't hurt our citizens friends, but they will hurt citizen family. He's in danger if he's with us. I turned as a car pulled up. Gun and Goo got out of the car and looked at me. We stared at each other and I turned. I walked away slowly, tired and needing a shower.
