I giggled and played with one of the many puppies in the shelter. I looked up at Neer with a wide happy smile which she returned.

"Aren't they just the cutest?" I asked. She nodded and giggled.

"I wish I could take one with me, but they're to expensive." She laughed.

"I know! I wish I could take them all with me! What do you think Gun? Should we buy the entire shelter?"

"We could if you wanted to." Gun said with crossed arms, ignoring the puppies trying to get his attention.

I laughed and shook my head.

"YN, who do you think is the best fighter in J High?"

"Huh? Oh. Maybe... Logan because of the way he's built, but he lost so much weight that no one knew it was him and that he was weak."

"No, who of like, the skinnier, shorter ones."

"That's specific. Maybe...I think either... Daniel or....maybe Jay? I haven't actually seen Vin fight but I'm sure he's pretty strong."

Eli. Eli is probably the best fighter, but Gun is here and I can't say anything without endangering my friend.

"Really? How much do you know about them?"

"Well...Jay is hella rich because his dad is a Chairman. Daniel, everyone thinks he's rich but he's really not. Although he is pretty good at picking up and copying fight moves. I've seen him do it. Jay, he does this one thing I don't know what it's called though."

I feel bad for lying to her but I can't let them know I know so much about fights.

"So Daniel knows a lot of different ways of fighting?"

"Only if he's seen it before."

"Hmmm. What about Vin?"

"He picks on the weak. He use to bully Duke till Daniel got him into PTJ. He actually is obsessed with Duke's rapping."

"What about his fighting?"

"I've never really seen him fight, but I know that he's brutal when he does."

"From the girls, who knows how?"

"I'm pretty sure only Mary can fight."

"Oh really? Does she know a lot of different fighting styles?"

"Not that I know of."

Neer nodded.

"Damn it, I have to go to the bathroom, I'll be right back." I said putting the puppy down.

"Come on Bun Bun, don't look so grumpy." I smiled pinching his cheek before I left.

- Gun's POV-

It was awkward when YN left. It immediately went quiet. I don't trust this girl. Not one bit.

There was something about her that made me uneasy.

I don't like how she acts all shy , and how she acts like she's somewhat dependent on YN. Yet when YN looks away, she gives her this look that I can't quite place.

I don't like her.

YN is to trusting, I'm sure of it. Why else would she just welcome such a weird and suspicious person into her life. And what's up with that other girl Sofia? She's been with us for about a week now and won't let us be in the same room alone! I'll go sit next to YN, we'll start talking, I'll make her laugh that beautiful laugh that I love so much, then boom.

The bitch appears.

When she comes over, YN gives her all her attention. And then she'll tease us, saying that we're totally into each other, that we should just get together, BUT HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE TO GET WITH YN, IF SHE DOESN'T GIVE ME ANY SPACE TO WORK?! HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO GET HER TO LIKE ME IF DUMBASS SOFIA DOESN'T LET US BE ALONE?!

"You know a lot about Sargent Death, don't you?" I was brought out of my thoughts and looked at the girl covered in puppies.

"Who says?"

"YN told me. She said you were obsessed with them. What do you know about them?"

"Why do you care?"

She looked a little embarrassed, but I wasn't buying it.

"S-sorry, I've just always been interested in them ever since I found out about them...." She whispered and looked down shyly.

"I hardly know anything about him."

"About who?"

-YN's POV-

Gun turned to look at me and I looked at Neer.

"Huh? Neer, what's wrong? Why are you crying?!" I gasped.

"O-oh, it's nothing!" She laughed and wiped away her tears hurriedly.

"Gun, what happened?! What did you do?!"

"Why do you always think it's something I did?!"

"Because you're a heartless bitch! What did you do to her? Did you hurt her feelings?"

"I'm not a heartless bitch! I didn't do anything!"

"It's fine YN, I'm just sensitive!" Neer laughed and wiped away more tears.

"No it's not, what did he say? Gun, apologize!"

"I didn't do anything!"

"She's not crying because she feels like it!"

I went to her side and sat next to her, pulling her into a hug as she tried to hold back sobs. The poor thing!

He must have said something horrible! I have to talk to him, I can't bring him around my friends if he can't, or at least refuses to, read the room. I can't have him making my friends cry.
