Bard and the Dwarves came to a agreement where the Company would pay Bard to ferry them to Lake Town. Once the Company climbed into the boat, Bard took up the steering, as they begin their journey to the town.  Angelina sat with Thorin, as she clasped her stomach. "Are you okay, Angie?" asked Thorin. "I feel terribly sick! Which is strange because I normally never get sea sick" said Angelina. "I have some dremonine in my pack!" said Caroline approaching her Aunt.  "Oh thank you!" said Angelina as she took the small pill.  "What is that?" asked Thorin. "Its a pill that prevents sea sickness." said Angelina. "Why are you getting sick, Aunt Angie? You never get sea sick." said Madison. "I don't know, Madison. Maybe its because I haven't eaten in a while." said Angelina.  Once they entered the town, Bard ordered the Company into barrels of fish, so they can remain hidden from being noticed by the towns people. "Why is this?" asked Angelina.  "The Master is very suspicious of outsiders. If he finds out that I'm smuggling a company of dwarves in town,I will get in trouble." said Bard. "Sounds like the Master is a Greedy bastard." grumbled Angelina. Bard raised his eyebrows. "Who taught you to speak such colorful language? And for a she elf as well!" said Bard.  Thorin kept from laughing at Bard's remark.

"My father." Angelina replied.  Bard shook  his head as Angelina climbed into the fish barrel with Thorin. "Never again I will eat fish! Not even on Friday's during lent!" grumbled Caroline.  "What's Lent?" asked Fili. "Its a special feasting event of the Catholics. Long story, I will tell you later." said Caroline. After they got passed the guard Percy, they approached the outside of Bard's home. Bard suggested the Company to enter the home through the sewers. "You three ladies will enter the front way." said Bard. "Thank you. At least I won't have to worry about climbing toilets." grumbled Madison.  But the thought of the dwarves having to climb through the toilets hilarious.  "Hey! What do you give a King who  climbs through a toilet?" Madison called out. "What?" said Caroline. "A Royal flush! HA HA HA!" chirped Madison.  Angelina shook her head, as Bard chuckled at the young girl. "Are your nieces like this all the time?" asked the man. "Unfortunately yes." said Angelina.

"They look the same age as my oldest daughter." said Bard.  Angelina nodded. "That you are right." said Angelina as they entered Bard's home.   Bard's children, Sigrid, Tilda and Bain greeted him, and the man introduces his children to Angelina, Caroline and Madison.  "Damn!" Madison whispered. "What? Why did you say that for?" asked Caroline. "I can't help but staring at Bard's son.." whispered Madison.  "Madison, I thought you liked--!" began Caroline. "We're only friends, Caroline. What make you think Bilbo and I are a.." whispered Madison. "Its nothing." said Caroline.  Sigrid offered baths and fresh clothing for all the three of them.  "My mother's got dresses that can fit you, Angelina and I got some dresses to loan to your nieces!" said Sigrid. "Thank you!"  said Angelina.

And so Angelina, Caroline and Madison followed Sigrid to the washroom where they bathed, and dressed in fresh clothing. "Wow, these remind us of our great -grandmother's gowns!" exclaimed Madison, as she spun around in her dress. Caroline laughed.  "I look like the oldest daughter from Little House on the Prairie!"  said Caroline. Angelina smiled. "Except without the ringlet curls." Angelina chimed in.  Angelina pulled her hair up in a small bun, leaving down two braids with Thorin's beads.  "Nice updo!" said Madison. Angelina smiled, as the three of them leave the room, and headed down into the dining room.  As they entered, they could see the Company already gathered in the dining room. Angelina gasped, as she saw Thorin now dressed in different clothing. He wore a red shirt, and black trousers. She thought to herself the dwarf looked rather handsome in red.  Angelina took her seat next to Thorin. Thorin smiled, as he looked at her.  "What? Its not like you seen me in a dress before!" said Angelina.

"I'm sorry we don't have much food. You have to blame the Master for this." said Sigrid. "That's okay. We're rather used to it actually." said Madison, thinking back the few times when they lived in Springfield, and at the time Angelina wasn't working that they had to scrap for food.  This event happened after the deaths of their parents, and it was a struggling time for all three of them. Caroline began telling her story briefly.  "Sounds like your goverment is full of greed. I wouldn't want to live there." said Bard. "You got that right. But the Master is just as bad as our policians in our world." said Angelina, taking a bite of her bread.  When all of a sudden we're discussing politics? Angelina thought.   Angelina tried to find someone to change the subject. She hated discussing politics fearing it would start an argument.  Fortunately Thorin spoke up, inquiring Bard about weapons. Angelina felt relieved that Thorin changed the subject.
