Thorin shortly led the Company into a much somber song, and Angelina remain her focus on the Dwarf leader.  And she felt urges inside her, she had not felt since she had been with Chris.  Feelings of lust and desire rose in her as she watched him. She prayed her nieces or the rest of the Company would see her this way.  She would never hear the end of it. His deep baritone voice and the low beautiful melodies of his harp moved her.  After playing several more songs, the Company called it a night, as Thorin announced to the group they will be leaving in three hours, by orders of Gandalf the Grey. "All of you should get your rest. Especiall you, Angelina and your girls." said Thorin. "I can't sleep. I might as well stay awake, if we're leaving in that short of time period." said Angelina. Thorin took notice of Angelina's features. "Are you okay? You're not ill, aren't you?" asked Thorin gently, placing his hand on her shoulder.  "Thorin, can we talk alone please?" Angelina asked Thorin. "Of course! How about out on the balcony?" said Thorin.

"Actually we should talk in my room!" said Angelina. Thorin smiled. "Of course. You lead the way, love." said Thorin, as Angelina led Thorin to her room that Elrond had assigned her.  After they entered, Angelina closed the door, but she forgot to lock the door, as she made her way to her bed and sat down. "Tell me what is troubling you, Angelina?" said Thorin, as he sat beside her, taking her hands. "Nothing really is troubling me, its just--Oh, this really hard to explain." said Angelina.  "How difficult can it be, Angie?" said Thorin. "Thorin--I have these urges--and tonight, when I listened to you and your Company play music, and I watched you, and these feelings of desire and lust clouded over you. I did well keeping my composure, restraining myself for leaping on you." Angelina confessed.  Suddenly to Angelina's surprise Thorin threw his head back and laughed, his voice echoing throughout the room.

"Is that it, Angelina? You're lusting for me?" said Thorin, the tone of voice in amusement. "Thorin, this isn't funny! Why are you laughing?" said Angelina, sharply, her voice spoke in disappointent.  "I apologize, love--I didn't mean to laugh--its this--this is rather straight foward, and I thought you wouldn't be the type who would feel this way." said Thorin. "What do you mean?" snapped Angelina, angrily. "It means, that I feel its too soon for us to go that far, Angelina. I'm not saying we should stop kissing, and holding each other.  But the physical intimacy--something that should be saved. Love is a sacred thing, among out people, Angelina--you have to understand that." Thorin explained. "I see--I understand--stupid me! I should have known better--I was born and raised, and baptised Catholic--I feel so stupid!" said Angelina.

"Angelina, there is nothing to be ashamed of you, if you feel a small desire for me. I feel the same for you, but I restrain myself from doing so--I don't want to go against the beliefs of my people! Something you should share with your nieces as well." said Thorin.   Angelina nodded her head, as she felt sleep clouding over her. "Angelina, you should rest. I'll stay with you!" said Thorin softly, as he helped Angelina climb into bed, and he shortly joined her, pulling her into his arms, resting her head gently on his broad chest.

Three hours later..

The Company departed from Rivendell as Thorin said they were going to do. "Madison! Mister Baggins! I suggest you keep up!" Thorin called out to them. "I'm sorry! My laces of my shoes were untied!" Madison called back. "You should have thought of retying them before we took off, lassie." said Dwalin.  Madison grumbled, mocking Dwalin's remark.  "And that attitude of yours won't get you any where either!" Dwalin added, as he heard the young woman grumble. "You're starting to sound like my dad, which is rather creepy and not funny." said Madison.  Several hours they walked, as they reached the Mountain Pass, and the weather turned for the rest.  "You should be careful, Maddie. The Mountain is slippery! Are you sure those shoes of yours are safe for this?" asked Bilbo. "Bilbo, these are gym shoes. I'm sure they are capable of mountain climbing." said Madison.  Bilbo shook his head and sighed, as rain pounded on them and rumbles of thunder is heard every where, and bolts of lightening are seen.
