At the tents, the healers had been busy tending to the wounded, and Gandalf approached Angelina and her nieces, while visiting with Thorin, Fili and Kili, alongside with Bilbo. "Angelina, there is something very important I want to discuss with you and your nieces. But we must discuss this away from Thorin and the others." said Gandalf.  Angelina nodded, and she called for Caroline and Madison, and they followed Gandalf out of the tent."What is it you wish to discuss, Gandalf?" asked Angelina. "The Battle has ended, and Erebor has been reclaimed, and you three fulfilled your duties. I'm proud of all three of you! Especially you, Angelina. But here is something important I like to ask you. Do you wish to return to your own world?" Gandalf asked. Carolinie and Madison exchanged looks then they looked at Angelina. As for Angelina, she couldn't possibly leave. Yes she had a job in her world, and other things, but on the other hand, there was Thorin. She loved Thorin very much, and Thorin wanted to marry her.

In spite of the up and downs the two had been through, Angelina truly loved the Dwarf. And this left her in a very difficult position on deciding on what to do.  "I really don't know, Gandalf. I really don't know what I'm going to do. Do I have some time to think about this, after I discuss this with Caroline and Madison?" asked Angelina.  "You have plenty of time, Miss Burbanks." said Gandalf. Angelina nodded. "Gandalf says we can go home? REALLY?!" beamed Madison. "Yes." said Angelina sadly. "Oh, Aunt Angelina--you don't look to excited." said Caroline. "Girls, I want to stay here.  I know our home is in our world, and we cannot leave. I love my Thorin." said Angelina.  "What are we going to do then?" asked Madison.  "And I'm expecting a proposal from Fili any time." said Caroline.  "Bilbo wants me to go home with him. The hobbit and I became very close since the beginning." said Madison. "So I guessour minds made up then. We're staying." said Caroline. Angelina nodded. "Let's inform Gandalf of this." said Angelina.

Angelina went and informed the wizard of their decision. Afterwards, Angelina went to Thorin's tent, and remained with him.  As she entered the tent, she could see Thorin in a deep conversation with his cousin Dain.  "I don't mean to interrupt, I just got done talking with Gandalf." said Angelina, as she sat down next to Thorin.  "What did you and the wizard talk about?" asked Thorin. "He asked if my nieces and I would want to go back to our world." said Angelina. "What did you tell him?" asked Thorin sharply, worried that Angelina was going to leave him. "I told him we're staying!" said Angelina, smiling. Thorin grinned in delight. "Akminruk zu,Mahal!!" whispered Thorin, as he pulled Angelina into his arms, kissing her. "Alright, you two crazy kids! Not in front of the kin folk!" joked Dain, laughing.  Thorin and Angelina broke their embrace and laughed.

"If Thorin becomes King, will you still come by and visit?" Angelina asked Dain.  She already became quite fond of the dwarf, and he reminded her a lot of her Uncle. "Of course I'll visit! I always do! Especially during the Feasts!" said Dain.   Later that night, Tauriel entered the tent, as she wished to discuss something really important with Thorin, but no soon as she entered, Thranduil followed her. "Your Majesty, you already banished me from the realm.  You cannot convince me to return." said Tauriel. "That's not what I was going to talk to you. I am wishing to speak to Thorin." said Thranduil. "Well--that's a shocker." grumbled Tauriel.  Angelina chuckled.  "Thranduil." said Thorin casually.   "You have summoned me, Thorin.  What is it you wish to discuss?" asked Thranduil. Angelina and Tauriel exchanged looks. "Did you just hear that? Thorin summoned him! What does that supposed to mean?" asked Angelina. "It means Thorin is wanting to give him the necklace!" said Tauriel with a smile.

"Thranduil, we've had our differences for many decades, and its time that we put our differences aside, and become allies once more. I have decided to give you the necklace as you requested, and also another item of interest that I discovered in the treasury." said Thorin, as he first had taken out the necklace which he had sent Gloin to get, and then another item. "A Silmaril! You're--giving me-!" stammered Thranduil.  "I done some thinking. You deserve this necklace. Remember your wife!" said Thorin.  Angelina stood wiping a tear from her eyes as she watched this.  Even Tauriel wiped a tear from her eyes. "Actually, there is no need for me to keep this necklace. Tauriel, I bestow this necklace to you as a dowry for your marriage with Kili Durinson." said Thranduil.  Tauriel stood in shock. She couldn't believe she is hearing this, and she broke into tears.
