Angelina's POV:

As we made it back to the the guest house, Fili turned to me. "Why aren't you with the others?" asked the young dwarf. "Thorin wishes for us to stay behind!" I replied.  "According to you Uncle, he's only doing this for on own, quote, unquote 'protection'!" said Madison, in a mocking tone. "Protection? Why would you need protected! I saw you two fight against the orcs! I'm sure you can take on a dragon!" said Kili, weakly. "He was not speaking of the dragon, lads. Remember, the gold sickness that consumed your grandfather?" spoke up Oin.  "But you don't think its going to happen to Uncle, Oin? Our Uncle is strong, he will never fallen weak to it!" said Fili.  "Fili, the way your Uncle looked at me last night when he ordered me to stay behind, he meant it. He knew what is going to happen, he's protecting us from himself. But I'm afraid he cannot get rid of us that easily." I said.  "What do you mean?" asked Bofur.

"It means, I'm going to the Mountain if Thorin wishes it or not. And you two are coming with me." I said, pointing at my nieces. "Uh, Aunt-you can go, we'll stay here and look after Kili." spoke up Madison.  "Are you sure about this, Maddie?" I asked. "I'm positive." said Madison."Very well." I said. "You mean to tell me you're leaving NOW?" exclaimed Bofur. "I'm afraid so.  Girls, you take good care of everyone, especially Kili! Try and get him healed so he and the dwarves return the Mountain!" I said.  Madison and Caroline nodded. "You can count on us to get Kili back in tip top shape!" said Madison, confidently.  After I hugged my nieces, I hugged the dwarves.  "You know Uncle isn't going to like the idea of you defying his orders." said FIli, sternly. "Does it look like I give a flying crap?" I said, sternly.  Kili tried to chuckle, but instead he coughed. "Kili, don't over exert yourself!" called out Caroline. "Sorry!" mumbled Kili. "Farewell!" I said, as I marched out the guest home.   Luckiliy, I found an extra boat nearby and climbed in as I begin rowing.   I'm hoping by midnight tonight I would reach the Mountain.

Hours later, I arrived to show and climbed out of the boat.  Suddenly I could feel the ground below me shake. What in the hell?! Is that an earthquake of some sort? I thought to myself.  And then I realized, that was no earthquake I felt. It was the wrath of Smaug. I had a feeling the dragon had woken. I moved at a high rate of speed so I could get to the Mountain.  I debated on whether I should enter the side door, or the Front Gate.  Go through the side door, its much safer! I thought to myself.   As I entered the Mountain, I could hear many voices shouting, on top of a much louder deeper voice roaring.  The deeper voice that spoke I assumed it was the dragon.  I'm not afraid of dragons.  They maybe larger in size but I can take him on. As I continued to enter the Mountain, I could see the Company running like mad, as Thorin shouting orders at them. "To the Gallery of Kings!" Thorin yelled to them.  I decided I would hopefully go to the Gallery of Kings before the others reach there.

Be careful, Angelina, don't let the dragon see you! I thought to myself.  As I ran, I suddenly saw a large claw stepping in front of me. Shit! I've been caught! "Well, well, look whom we have here! A She Elf! In my home! Don't tell me you have dealings with this dwarf scum do you? I thought elves hated the dwarves!" spoke up the Dragon.  I looked up , and I could see Smaug's red and orange eyes glaring at me.  "Please don' t hurt me!" I said, closing my eyes.  "Don't eat you? OF course, I would eat you! I've been hungry for hours and I'm good and ready for a meal right now!" the dragon growled.  "Don't you touch me, I'm warning you!" I shouted.  "Think you're so tough! How dare you try and fight me! Let me inform you, elf I can eat you right now!" barked the dragon.  I need to think of something fast. Negotiate some type of bargain with the dragon.  And that's when I came up with an idea, however stupid it may sound, it would work.

"I have a proposition for you, Smaug, the Greatest of Calamities!" I began. "A proposition? What is it, She Elf?" asked Smaug, casually.  "The deal is to keep me as your prisoner, you will hand over the Mountain to the Dwarves!" I continued.   The dragon sat and thought over my words. "Mm.."  Smaug began in a hum. "So you're saying if you are giving yourself up as my hostage, then I will give the dwarves what they want?" said Smaug. "Yes." I replied.  "Woman, you have no idea what you are doing--because you see, if I were to lock you up in those rooms, You would set me free to destroy Lake Town.  And you have loved ones behind! Are you sure you are willing to do this?" snarled Smaug.  I closed my eyes.  I really done it this time. My nieces are in Laketown, with the other dwarves.  I realized I'm making a huge mistake.  But it was too late now, I opened my mouth. I had no other choice but to follow through with the negotation.  "Alright, I'll do this." I said confidently. "Very well. As you wish. Climb aboard my back!" said Smaug, grimly.  I climbed on his back.  I couldn't believe the scales on this bad boy.
