Three days later..

Dis and Caroline had been helping Angelina getting ready for the ritual.  Angelina felt very excited but also nervous, because this was all new to her. It was also new to Caroline as well. "You and I are in the same boat, Aunt Angie. This all new to me as well." said  Caroline.  After getting ready,  Balin, Dwalin, Fili and Kili arrived as they escorted Dis, Caroline, and Angelina to a very large hall, that Caroline and Angelina had never seen before, and she didn't undertand why Thorin had yet showed her.  Angelina noticed Tauriel wasn't with him.  "Tauriel isn't coming?" asked  Angelina. "She would have came, but she discovered from Thranduil that there is still left over spiders in Mirkwood." Kili replied. "I thought they got rid of them all?" said Caroline. "Apparently, they missed a few!" said Fili.  "Fili, that isnt something you should joke about!" said Dis.  Shortly, they entered the very large hall.  Angelina and Caroline gasped. The place was quite beautiful  And sitting in the distance upon a stool with a red cushion, sat Thorin, in front of a large wooden golden harp with silver engravings in Khazadul.

Angelina couldn't help but stare at her future husband, as she thought he looked quite handsome, as he now dressed in a dark blue tunic, his blue fur lined robes, and a silver circlet.  Caroline chuckled at her aunt's reaction. "Should we find a cold bucket for you Aunt?" Caroline teased.  Angelina didn't reply, but she gave Caroline a glare. Caroline and Angelina sat down, as Balin stood in front of the very large crowd of dwarves, and standing at Balin's side,  a dwarf priest, as they begin the ritual.  Both Dwalin and Fili translated the words to Angelina and Caroline.  After the priest spoke, the singing began, led by Thorin, as he played on his harp.  When Thorin started to sing, his voice sounded more beautiful than it ever sounded, to Angelina's ears. His voice always sounded the same to her, even when she first heard him sing in Bag End.

But now inside a large hall, his voice sounded powerful, and operatic (as Caroline would put it ).  "Is he trying to sing opera? This would make a great opera!" Caroline whispered.  Angelina chuckled softly.  Yes, Thorin would make one hell of a opera singer, he would run circles around some of the ones today! thought Angelina, trying to keep her composure from bursting into tears.   Later, after the ritual, everyone gathered in the Great Hall for feast.  The whole event had left Angelina speechless, and she hardly spoken during dinner, as Thorin had noticed. "Are you alright, Angelina?" Thorin whispered.  "I'm fine." said Angelina, as she laid her hand on Thorin's lap. "Angelina, what are you doing?" asked Thorin, as he could feel her hand rubbing up and down his thigh. "Oh, I'm sorry!" said Angelina quickly, as she moved her hand.   "I think she's turned on, Thorin!" Caroline blurted out, and FIli and Kili burst into roaring laughter, alongside with  Dwalin, and the Company.

"CAROLINE!" hissed Angelina loudly and sharply, as her faced turned red in embarrassment.  "Caroline, that wasn't funny embarrassing your Aunt like that!" said Thorin, catching on to the little plot. Caroline fell silent.  Thorin turned to Angelina. "Whatever the problem is, I can fix it later!" Thorin whispered to Angelina, with a grin.  Angelina smiled back.

Later that night, Thorin and Angelina retired to their chambers. "You hardly spoken at all this evening, Angie.  Are you sure you're okay?" asked Thorin, as he sat on the bed, removing his boots.  "I'm fine, just still in awe from the beauty of the ritual today. And---of course, you." said Angelina, looking into Thorin's blue eyes.  Thorin laughed.  "Caroline is right,  my voice aroused you hasn't it?" said Thorin, in a amusement. "Don't pay attention to that sharp tongued little--Oh alright, yes--a little. Its just your voice is so beautiful! I couldn't help but react the way I've done--Yes, I'm behaving like a school girl--or as Madison puts it 'fan girl'." said Angelina.  Thorin laughed again, as he pulled Angelina in his arms.  "You're something else, you know that, love! But I love you any way!" said Thorin, as he planted his lips upon hers, kissing her passionately.  When the kiss broke, Angelina laid her head upon Thorin's chest.
