Before the feast started, Thorin begin his speech announcing his marriage to Angelina, as well as introducing Angelina and Caroline to the large group of dwarves.  Majority of the dwarves cheered, but there was a few on the crowd that did not cheer at all, and they snarled at Angelina and Caroline in suspicion. "I told you they don't like me." Angelina whispered. "Don't worry about the nay sayers, lass. We'll take care of them." said Thrain. When the speech ended, the feast began.  First everyone ate their supper.  Angelina barely had touched her plate, which raised concerns to the family. "Aunt, you have not touched a thing on your plate." said Caroline. "I lost my appetite." grumbled Angelina. "Angelina, what is troubling you now? I told you not to worry about it." said Thorin.  "I cannot stop thinking about it, Thorin.  The person who wrote me that letter could be among the crowd of dwarves right now." said Angelina.  Thorin closed his eyes and sighed.  Angelina made a point. "Don't worry, Angelina. We're going to keep a close eye on the crowd for any suspicious activity." Thorin assured her.  Angelina nodded.  When supper ended, the servants came out to clear up, and the celebration began with music, dancing and social time.

Thorin introduces Angelina and Caroline to many of the noble dwarf families.  They seem to like her, and Angelina would find herself in deep conversations with them, and she even made some of them laugh with her quirky jokes. Suddenly, a dwarf woman with blonde hair and blue eyes stared at Thorin and smiled, and she approached Thorin and Angelina. When Thorin recognized the woman, he frowned. The Dwarf woman is Nanja  Fireforge, a dwarf  woman that Thorin's grandfather Thror had attempted an arranged marriage to her, by request of Nanja's father, Omar.  "Hello, Thorin. It  has been a while since I last seen you. Congratulations on becoming King you are!" said Nanja.  "Its nice seeing you again too, Nanja." said Thorin, bluntly trying his best to be polite. He didn't like this woman at all, nor her family.  The Fireforges were now as a manipulative and conniving family, and power hungry.  Nanja had been pursuing Thorin so she could become Queen Under the Mountain alongside with Thorin.

But Thorin had refused to accept the betrothal, and denied any dealings with Nanja and her family, after finally convincing his grandfather that the family are trouble makers.  Thorin felt guilty of not informing Angelina of this.  "And who is this?" asked Nanja, iciliy. "This is Angelina Burbank, whom soon will become my wife." said Thorin. Nanja scowled, and gave Angelina a glare. And then she turned her angry glare at Thorin. "You despictable bastard!! You're showing our people disgrace of marrying this elf!! Our race and the elves had never gotten along! How could you do this! This woman could be after your money! Watch yourself, Oakenshield! She will turn on you! Mark my words!" snarled Nanja, as she walked away. "You stupid little bitch!!" snapped Angelina, as she was about t charge at her, when Thorin pulled her back. "Don't worry about her." said Thorin.

Suddenly, Angelina short an angry glance at Thorin.  "Thorin, who is that blonde bimbo?! Why in the hell was she trashing me in front of you?!" snapped Angelina.  Thorin closed his eyes, and sighed. "Angelina, don't get angry when I tell you this. I should have told you this a lot sooner, its best that I should tell you now." began Thorin, and he told Angelina of his unwanted arranged betrothal to Nanja that quickly ended, and he told her the Fireforge family is known as trouble makers.   After Thorin told his tale, a look of hurt and anger clouded over Angelina. "You should have told me this along time ago to save all the trouble of the humilty I have to go through!" snapped Angelina angrily, and she bolted out of the Great Hall. "Angelina!!" Thorin called out to her, but it was too late. Angelina already left. "Thorin, what in Durin's name is going on?" asked Balin, appproaching his friend, after noticing Angelina storming out of the Great Hall.

"Balin, who invited the Fireforges to the Feast? They are the last people I wanted to see here!" snarled Thorin.  Balin bowed his head. "Balin, you didn't." said Thorin.  "Thorin, I'm sorry---its just you told me to invite everybody,  I never knew the Fireforges had planned to come.  Is that why Angelina left?" asked Balin.  "I told her, Balin.  I had no other choice but too. Nanja approached us, trash talking Angelina in front of our faces. I had to prevent a fight from breaking out on the spot." said Thorin. "Thorin, I'm so sorry--If  I only known this was bound to happen, we would've never allowed the Fireforges set foot in Erebor." said Balin, gently. "Angelina's angry with me for not telling her sooner.  Balin, do me a favor! Have Dwalin and several others keep a close eye on them. I don't trust the Fireforges as far as I can spit." said Thorin.  Balin nodded, and walked away.  In the mean time, Thorin needed to find Angelina and talk to her.
