Later, Thorin sat in a private parlor alongside with the family.  Thorin hardly had spoken since the trial against Angelina.  "Kili was supposed to show up to the trial. Why weren't he and Fili there?" Thorin spoke up breaking the silence. "I asked Kili to find his brother and Caroline, apparently he's still looking for them." said Balin.  Suddenly, no soon as they spoke about the brothers, they quickly entered. "Uncle Thorin, you're making a terrible mistake! Release Angelina right this instant!" shouted Kili.  "Why? Why should I release her? She had stolen from the treasury!" Thorin shouted back.  "I cannot believe you are falling for those assholes Thorin! You have no idea what really had happened. If you must know why Fili and I weren't at the trial, because the two of us were tied up, damn it! Tied up and Gagged! Not only that, Omar threatened to kill us if we called for help.  I over heard his conversation with Nanja! The whole thing was set up! Nanja placed some kind of drug in Angelina's water!" shouted Caroline angrily.

Thorin stood frozen. Guilt clouded over him. He realized he indeed had made a very big mistake. I cannot believe I didn't listen to Angelina's warnings! I feel terrible! What have I done? Thorin thought, and and then anger fueled inside him. "I will go and see to Angelina.  Dwalin, you go find the traitors and hold them in the Throne Room until I return." demanded Thorin.  Dwalin nodded, and he left, as Thorin quickly sprinted to the dungeons.  By the time Thorin reached to Angelina's cell, he gasped as of what he had witnessed. Angelina was in the process of hanging herself. She torn hems off her gown, as she made it to a rope, as she placed it on a cell barred window inside the cell. And soon she wrapped it around her neck. "Angelina STOP!" Thorin cried out. "No!" screamed Angelina. Thorin took the keys unlocking the cell door, and entered. "Remove the make shift noose, NOW!" Thorin demanded. "NO!" screamed Angelina, tears streaming down her face. "Fine, I'll do it myself!" snapped Thorin. Suddenly soon as he said that, Angelina removed her makeshift noose, throwing it on the ground.

Thorin knelt before her, his eyes looking upon her with saddness and great concern. He could feel his heart shattering looking upon her in this state of mind. "Why are you down here?" asked Angelina coldly. "To apologize for earlier. I should have believed you. Thank Mahal that Fili and Caroline spoke up when they have." said Thorin.  "You're not the only one I'm pissed off.  I'm very angry with Dwain, who fell for the scam." sobbed Angelina. "You will let me deal with Dwalin, and he will apologize to you as well. Listen, I should have never listened to those conniving manipulative bastards. And I'm sorry for not telling you all this sooner, Angie--I feel torn apart of this whole situation. Angelia, I love you, and I like for us to get married. We cannot allow this to stand in our way." said Thorin, as he could feel his own tears swell up in his eyes.  Angelina looked up at Thorin, as she could see Thorin really meant every word he said. "Thorin!" Angelina whispered, as she collapsed into his arms. Thorin held Angelina tightly.

"Men lananubukhs menu, Angelina!" whispered Thorin. "I love you too, Thorin!" Angelina whispered back, as Thorin kissed her, and they remained that way for a while.  "Come, lets get you out of here and to our chambers so you can rest." said Thorin. Angelina nodded.

Thorin asked Fili to escort Angelina to the King's chambers, while he had to take care of a few things--for starters, to find Nanja and Omar.  Suddenly Balin and Dwalin quickly approached them. "We have urgent news, and I'm afraid its  bad." said Balin.  "What is it?" said Thorin.  "Omar and Nanja took off.  We searched everywhere in Erebor for them, we couldn't find them." said Balin. "DAMN IT!" roared Thorin, angrily.  "Thorin, they could be anywhere." said Dwalin. "Have you searched every where?" demanded Thorin. "We have searched everywhere. No sign of the Fireforges." Balin replied. "They must've left the Mountain! Dwalin, you and several scouts go search outside the Mountain, and also search Dale. As soon as you find them, you bring them to me!" said Thorin. "Yes Thorin." replied Dwalin, as he walked away. "Now its the waiting game." sighed Balin.
