Luke’s POV

I open my eyes. They’re stuck together with something. I don’t know what. The light in the room is dim. My hair has fallen from it’s regular quiff and it hangs in my eyes. A rag is in my mouth, stopping me from calling out. My arms are strapped to the board I’m laying on with cold, hard, metal. I try to move my feet but they’re held down too.I lifted my head and looked down at my own body.  My shirt and shoes were missing. I started to realize the danger of my situation as my head cleared up. I tried to use my strength to break the straps. I pulled and squirmed around but when I started to get exhausted, I gave up.

My wrists and ankles were now sore and hurt.

I looked around at the room. I couldn’t see much. There were no windows and the walls were cement. Around me were several other tables covered with tools.

I pulled against the straps again and tried to scream but no one could hear me.

Ashton’s POV

“Ow!” I cried out.

“Oh sorry sweet cheeks, just a little blood, that’s all.” The nurse waved her hand.

I turned my head and glared at my mom over the nurse’s head. She just shrugged.

The nurse was taking the tubes out of my arms and she wasn’t being very careful. (A/N this has actually happened to me and it sucked. lol.)

She wiped the blood and finished off with gauze and tape over the place where the tubes were, then she replaced the gauze over my wrist. I tried my hardest not to roll my eyes.

I was allowed to go home and for some reason, the doctor never said anything else about the wound. Even after he checked it again. I wonder why.

I started to get out of the hospital bed when I was stopped.

“Ah, ah, ah. Not so fast.” The nurse waved her finger at me.

She left the room and I just fell back onto the hospital bed. What. I can’t walk?

She returned with a wheel chair. “You’re going to have to sit in this, until we get you out to your car. I’ll push you out front and your mom is going to pull the car up and meet us out there okay?”

“No. I don’t want to sit in a damn wheelchair, I can walk.” I pouted.

“It’s just protocall. And plus maybe it’s better that you take it easy.”

“Fine.” I mumbled and sat in the wheelchair. I can’t freaking wait to go home and lay in my own bed.

The nurse rolled me out to the front of the hospital where my mother would be waiting with the car. As I strolled by the people in the hospital, I got many stares. The little kids were especially rude, they just openly stared and gaped at me. Instead of keeping my head down, I just waved at them. It shocked them enough to stop looking at me.

We had arrived at my house and my mom was trying to help me out of the car but I refused her help. I took slow and careful steps towards the doorway. Yeah, my mom could have helped and this would have been a lot faster but I liked to do things myself.

“Can I at least help you up to your room?” She asked.

“Nope.” I popped the ‘p’. She just sighed and went to the kitchen to make food.

I walked up to my room, rather slowly. When I opened the door I saw Calum sitting on my bed. When he saw me, he sprang up and rushed over to me.

He engulfed me in a huge hug and when he pulled apart, his face was wet with tears.

“Oh Cal.” I frowned and hugged him.

I didn’t let go and I asked “How did you know I was in the hospital?”

He pulled apart from the hug and answered “I hadn’t seen you for days so I kept calling your cell phone. Finally your mom answered and told me you were in the hospital. How did you even get in the car accident?” He asked.

“Car accident?” I gave him a funny look.

“Yeah… that’s why you were in the hospital… are you okay?” Calum warily asked.

“Yeah, yeah, It’s just the drugs. Sorry.” I went along with the lie. I mean, I couldn’t exactly tell the truth.

“Come on, let’s get you laid down.” Calum led me over to my bed.

I slowly laid onto the bed and felt instantly relaxed. It was so nice to be back in my own bed instead of the hospitals and their itchy blankets. I ripped off my skinny jeans, not even caring that Calum was right there.

Calum laid into the bed next to me and raised his hands behind his head. I took this chance to snuggle into him. He lowered his arms and wrapped them around me.

Before I completely fell asleep, I asked “How did you get into my room?”.

“The window.” Calum replied.

“Just like old times.” I chuckled.

Except it wasn’t like old times anymore.
