It's a cold and chilly night on august 6th 2020, the United States still mourns the losses of its people on that dreadful day of June 8th, 2020. Although no matter if there is a war or a National tragedy no one can ignore the other important factor of this year for the country, it's an election year. And the military response to the massacre of 5th avenue and the massacre itself has shown it will play an important role in American politics for years to come. Although despite the influence this important event in American history will have on modern American politics, it also has obviously effected another factor that the United States will need to handle. The international response. Many country's such as of course the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Germany, and Spain, all key American allies wanted to play a part in the American response into the foreign world. Although which shocked many was that Russia and China also wished to send advisors to the region simply stating that they wish to "survey the area for scientific efforts". The United Nations would suggest that it forms a international team consisting of Brazilian, German, British, Chinese, and Russian troops to enter the region under the command of the United Nations, which the United States quickly rejected. The president made it clear that no foreign boots would enter the gate until the United States deems it necessary. And that might've pissed off many powerful international leaders.

POV - PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

I look around the room as I see many foreign leaders and many of my own advisors and political appointees arguing with each other over the fact that the United States has officially rejected their wishes to have their military's enter the gate to aid American troops in the region, its getting annoying fast. Although despite their bickering my eyes shoot over to the German chancellor who gets up and scoffs. "It's completely unfair that the United States is the only one to have military personnel set foot onto another world! Us NATO allies should have the chance to do so as well! It's clear that the United States is simply greedy for territorial expansion!" My head turns over the to the secretary of defense who also stands up looking at the German Chancellor coldly. "May I remind you, our country was not that long ago attacked and invaded. Dozens of our citizens were just killed, raped, and slaughtered! And all you can possibly care about is getting your own troops across the gate? This is an American problem and it will have an American solution.. the president's decision is final. You can move your troops when the United States deems it necessary to do so..For now all troops that are not of American origin are denied entering the gate.." the room went silent, first time it has in a few minutes. Although I sigh softly as the silence is broken by the British Prime Minister laughing loudly and annoyingly. I look over to the prime minister and tilt my head every so slightly. "Is something funny, sir?"

The prime minister adverts his glaze over to me, as he shakes his head "Yes there is, i-" I notice the Italian prime minister giving the British prime minister a dirty look making him immediately shut up. "Excuse me Mr. president.." the British man mutters as he walks out followed by the Italian PM. Interesting.. "Mr. president.. I think we may be done here I suppose?" The French president Speaks up his eyes looking over at the German chancellor who scoffs, i sigh "I suppose.. goodbye gentlemen." They all nod muttering under their breath leaving the room as I sit up in my chair with my advisors looking at me. "What?" The Secretary of State looks at me with an expression of nervousness. "Mr. President.. you saw their attitude correct? We just made our allies extremely pissed, I don't like where this is heading sir.." I ponder on the secretary's words for a few seconds, he does provide a rightful concern. France, Germany, Italy, Britain, they all attended. And they are our Nations closest and most important allies, especially in Europe.. "I see your concern.. although, it wouldn't be wise of our allies to abandon us.. that would allow Russia to simply steam roll Western Europe.. they'd remove the American nuclear umbrella, not so smart now correct?" I receive no response, i sigh. "Hm, okay fine.. theoretically lets say, our allies leave us.. who would they go to? Russia?" The NSA director would gulp, speaking up "T-That may be a possibility Mr. president.. many of our Eastern European allies have been strengthening ties with the federation.. especially turkey and Poland as of more recently.." i groan nodding slowly, looking down at my hands. "I see.. but my point still stands, what about our nuclear umbrella we pro- ah.. right, that's kind of useless if they're on good terms with Russia.." the rest in the room sigh, with the NSA director nodding. "Exactly Mr. president.. we don't have much leverage here.. we're in a tuff spot"
