I Need You

3. The Butterfly

I walk out of the restaurant with the bags in my hands. It is so cool outside and the sky is soo pretty. I always like the night sky. It makes me feel happy. I was just standing there and enjoying the moment. I take out my phone and I start texting Dylan to come. Then suddenly a butterfly emerges out from the bushes in front of me. It is very beautiful with elegant colors. I loved butterflies very much from my childhood. So I just keep staring at it.

Suddenly I feel someones arm around me and something on my nose. I don't know what's happening but slowly I feel dizzy and I close my eyes.

When I wake up I am in an unfamiliar place. The walls around me are grey and the light is so bright that I can't open my eyes. So I keep on opening and shutting the eyes until I adjust to the light. I start remembering all the memories from the previous night . The dinner went well. I came out to text Dylan. Then I saw a beautiful butterfly and someone just kidnapped me. I was so shocked and I try to get up from the chair but my hands and legs are tied to the chair, not soo tight to causes bruised nut tight enough to keep me in place. I search for my phone and it is no where to be found .I gather up all my strength and start screaming.

A guy in complete black dress approaches me."She is awake and she looks healthy. You can check on her later." He speaks to someone on the phone. After putting the phone back into his pocket he approaches me cups my face "You are born so beautiful to die here. So sad angel" and he leans closer and I see a different kind of emotion in his eyes. He is constantly staring at my lips. And when he leans even more i turn my face away so that he kisses my cheek. I get a burning sensation wherever he touches me. "Tough girl haa. Anyway I'll be the incharge of you. So we will have time till you die." he says while he is stroking my arm with one hand and with the other hand he is holding my face in place. When he starts grazing my lip with his thumb I bite it. With that he becomes angry and slaps me. "Do you want to die so early" with that he gives me a death glare and he goes back.

Tears start brimming in my eyes. A lady comes into the room to give me food. She places the food infront of me and unties me so that I can use the bathroom and eat. She looks like a sweet lady in her mid forties. "Where am I and why did they kidnap me?" I ask her she just looks me in the eyes and looks outside the glass door. "Because the boss told so. They want to kill you for your success and for everything you got" she gives me an apologetical look and goes out. I don't move from the chair. I just sit there and been processing the information. When the guy told me they ate going to kill me they actually are thinking of it. The guy from before comes back and yoes me to the chair. I look around the room but there is no escape route. The only doors to the room is the glass door infront of me and there are like 10 guards over there. And the door to the bathroom which has no ventilation.

Days pass by. I don't know how many days I have been locked inside this room. The only people I see are that old lady Emma, she comes to give me food and clothes everyday and that creepy gaurd who tries to get physical with me. I go into the bathroom to take a shower.

When I go back into the room Emma is still standing near the chair."In 10 minutes if you can make it out you will be free." are her only words. Why so suddenly she is trying to help me. What about the guards. "How? What about the guards?" "They have been called over for a meeting with the boss. So meanwhile get out. Left-> left -> right and then straight don't get confused." she says and pushes me outside. My knees are soo weak and I find it difficult to walk. I follow her directions. By the time I reach the last turn I hear a voice through the speakers set all over the way. "Mia wherever you are if you don't come back poor Emma is going to die." I stay put in my place as the footsteps echo in the corridor. "Mia so you decided to kill Emma. So sweet of you. One day you can come and join us. We all are same. We kill innocent people for our benefit. I know you are still in the house. It would be good if you come by yourself Mia." I go back only to find that creepy guard holding Emma by throat. She is choking. "Leave her. She has nothing to do with my escape. She was helping me with my clothes and I took it as a chance to escape." I shout with all the strength I have. He loosens the grip on Emma and pushes her out of the room. He locks and approaches me with a death glare. I thought he is going to slap me but his creepiness returns and he tries to kiss me. But I push him hard this time. He falls on the floor with a thud. He gets up and slaps me so hard that I lose my consciousness.

When I wake up I have a burning sensation on my wrists. He ties me so hard to the chair this time. And there is a butterfly in the room. It looks like the one I saw before I have been kidnapped. Now that I find it is an electronic butterfly.
