28. Lovesick

Aaron's POV: 

She made me the happiest soul on the earth today. I have been waiting for her to tell how she is feeling towards me all my life. I wanted her soo badly. I wanted to hug her and I wanted to kiss her. 

The night I came home drunk, we both kissed and that was our first kiss. If not for the pic in my phone, I wouldn't have remembered the night. But the one thing that is concerning me is her dad. I am sure that I am going to kill him and make him pay for his sins. But how will she take it. Will she hate me for killing him or will she be devastated when she knows that her father is the one behind her kidnap and her brother's death.

I hate keeping secrets from her, but this is for her good. She needs to be happy. She has undergone soo much already and I don't want to hurt her more.

I would have lost my control if her friend didn't come in. I hate for coming and I am glad that she came. I want everything to go slow.

Mia: Save me Aaron!!!

My screen lights up and I see her name on the screen. She texted me. I am happy that she actually is thinking about me everytime. 
Aaron: From your friend? I don't think I can. Sorry
Mia: huh? 
Aaron: Have a nice day. I'm leaving. I'll be home late. So don't wait for me.
Mia: Come show your face and then leave.

I peeked into her room. She was sitting like a lost baby. She jumps up from the bed when she sees me. She comes straight to me with open arms. But then she stops in her place to look at Evelyn. She is soo busy in her phone. "I'll bring food" she says and pushes me back. She pushes me into my room.

"You didn't answer my question" she says putting a finger on my cheek and then she pinches it. I like her playful side. "Which question do you want me to answer dear" I ask her leaning forward and fawning her neck. "The one about Cara. And stop doing this. You are making me breathless" she says looking down. 

I pull her chin up and her cheeks look bright pink. She has been blushing soo much. "See my dear sweetheart, I didn't know they were in relation and then I wasn't flirting with her. She was doing it to get him back I guess" and with that she relaxes. Cara is the most sensitive topic for her. And so is Damon. But the thing is she hates Cara and then she loves Damon.

My mind goes back to yesterday. Damon and Noah told that they felt like kissing her while they were playing the game. "And to my question, Who was the one you kissed in the room yesterday?" I ask her and she looks straight into my eyes. Her blues are very mesmerizing. "You. Only you. You are the only person I kissed" she says resting her head on my chest. "And am I the only one who kissed you?" I ask her out of curiosity. 

"Mmm actually no. There are many people who kissed me" I flinch under her. She senses that and says "actually like on my cheek" to cool me down. 

"Then I'll have to kill many" I say playing with her hair. She looks up and then smiles. Her smile is very alluring. "You actually killed one" she says and looks down. She just keeps staring at the floor.

I bend down and look at her face. Fresh tears are rolling down her cheeks. I make her sit on the bed and I sit beside her. "What's wrong sweetheart?" I ask her, but she just keeps looking down. I pull her chin up. "There was a guy who was mean to me when I was kidnapped" she says. I feel sad for bringing those memories back. I kiss her forehead and wipe her tears. 

My phone has been continuously buzzing. It's time for me to leave. "Leave now. I'll wait for you" she says when I am still standing at the main door. I just smile and then took a leave.

"Sir, we have his call data and we have tracked his motions. He is been constantly visiting the same place, a place near the outskirts. We went to check it and it is an old factory" Josh, one of my men speaks. I asked all my men to attend the meeting and update their progress on Austin's matter. 

Klaus tells me that Austin is always around the house. I  made sure that the security is increased and then they would be alert. I hate that I have to stay away from her for most of the day. Stephen is on a leave as he is still recovering from the wounds.

Everyone gives their updates and we discuss about our plan. Henry told he would help me. He is the only one I can trust now. He is strong and intelligent and he knows Austin better than anyone else. Last night I called him and told him that Austin is the killer. He said he was expecting this , but he didn't want to believe his instincts.

I arranged for a meeting. Yesterday's actual party was not an charity event but, I invited everyone I trust and I can trust. Today I have a meeting with them and then we will discuss on what to do with Austin. No one knows that it is Austin except for me, Henry and Klaus. I had no problem in letting Henry know it, but I don't want Klaus to get in trouble for knowing it. He was also close to Austin like me. Since Klaus has undergone a trauma after someone killed his mom. So he'll forget this matter when doesn't get daily updates about. Even my men following Austin don't know that it is Austin so thanks to the mask he wears.

I texted her before going into the meeting room. But she didn't reply anything. Maybe she is busy with her friend. I keep my phone in the pocket and enter the room. They all sit in their chairs looking at the files before them. Klaus stands behind me. He's got hawk eyes and he can sense the person's emotions easily. 

I start the meeting telling them all the details about the attack on Emily, then my dad and then about Mia. They all stay silent for sometime. "What are you planning on doing?" asks Sean one of my dads friends. He is the first person to speak and his voice tells me that he is as angry as me. Everyone in the room is connected to my dad. So they would atleast avenge for his death.

But if this goes out Mia's career will be in danger. So we have to take every step and decision carefully. Everyone is ready to support her. Last night everyone bought the shares of the company that signed her. So she wouldn't have any problem with the company. But what if reaches the public or FBI.

Speaking of her, she sends me a message. I open and see that she sent me a pic of us in the room, where I was hugging her from the back. And she said My Love sick man. I just smile at it. It looks cute and she looks happy. I put my phone back in my pocket and dismiss everyone. Someone is following me. I turn to look  at the person and it is Rick. His dad has been t a great acquaintance to mine. And he is close to Mia.

"Give this to her" he says handing me an envelop and leaves immediately. I wanted to look into it, but I wanted to give her privacy.

She didn't reply to my messages after the one she kept the pic. 

When I opened the door, I see blood trails. I run towards her room and she is not there. I check my room and then I check my study. But she is not there. I hear some faint sounds and I follow them. They are coming from the corner room. I open the door and there is more blood. I look at her. She is covered in blood.
