16. All about her

AARON'S POV:

I am scared to leave her alone in the house after everything has happened.
My thoughts are all about her. But my work needs me to be present at times. Stephen said Klaus called him that there is an emergency meeting and that they need me. I called Emma and others to ask about her. They said she is in her room. Her words and eyes speak a different emotion. Her eyes tell me everything. Even when she is pushing me away, even she is saying that she hates me her eyes tell that she needs me.

I suspect that there are some molesters in the company. I asked Klaus, my secretary to look into that. There are many people conspiring against me. But there is on e person who has been a constant threat to even dad. But we never knew who it is. That person is very clever. He doesn't leave even a small clue. Someone said he attended the concert. He might have been the one who kidnapped Mia.  I called Mia's dad for help. He knows my dad well. So he might know about this person. He might be the one who attacked Em, killed dad and kidnapped Mia. 

I was sitting at my desk. Klaus gave me the list of the people who are helping that person. We are tracking each and every one of them. If we make one wrong move we may lose the lead. We have missed him many times. But this time we are not going to lose him. There are quite a few people in the list Klaus gave me. After dad died I changed most of the staff. Klaus is my friend and a person I trust.  I tell them to keep a watch on those molesters and head home.

I went to her room to see her , but she is not in her room. I didn't look in the kitchen while coming up. Maybe she is preparing food or helping Emma. I open my room door and I am dumbstruck by the sight infront of me. She is sleeping in my bed and she is wearing my clothes. The light from the tv screen is illuminating her face. She looks so cute. She fell asleep watching Divergent. She is a great fan of that novel series. She always says that novels are different from movies. She loves reading novels and I love watching movies. She always tries to find the differences between the novel plot and the movie plot. My thoughts went back to afternoon. I know she gets scared easily and I loved it. Everytime she clutched my shirt or everytime she buried her head into my chest I was feeling a different kind of vibe. I don't know what kind of person she will be when she wakes up but I love her in her every mood.

I took a shower slowly climbed into the bed making sure she doesn't wake up. Dr. Millie said Mia needs as much rest as possible and she shouldn't stress herself mentally. I don't know what she has in her head but I want her to stay happy.

I wake up when she moves so much in her sleep. She is sweating soo much and muttering something but I can't hear anything. She is continuously moving. I hold her hand and soothe it. She slowly calms down. May be she had a bad dream. I pull her close to me and put an arm around her. I just stay awake for sometime to make sure she is sleeping well. Everything about her is making me concerned. The past few days she had affected her soo much. If she hates me or doesn't want me she has got a reason for that. But I should do something to get her. I could sense all her pain, love and anger when she was punching me in the morning. I just let her do that. If she hates me soo much then I deserve those.

I wake upto the buzzing sound. I just turn of my alarm and head straight to the shower. She is still sleeping. The medication makes her drowsy and helping her to get a good sleep. My black sweatshirt looks good on her. It reaches her mid thigh. I have some important work to deal with so I didn't wake her up.

Stephen called me to inform that Dylan and Damon are training her today. If it was any other guy in there position I would have killed them. But because I know that she menas a lot to them and they mean a lot to her. She trusts a very few people and they are always the first.  Suzy called me in the morning to ask me if they can visit her. I asked Mason to pick them up and look after them. They said they had a surprise for her. These very few people mean the world to them.
