The world around Gibbs slowed down. He was still chained to those damn chains and could barely breathe in pain, but he had to get to Sloane. Now. He pulled on the chains.
His wrists were already sore from all the pulling and tugging. Gibbs didn't realize that his wounds had reopened because of all the adrenaline.

Blood dripped to the floor. Ellie had meanwhile run to Jack and pressed both hands on her wound. Tim informed the doctor and Torres tried to calm his boss down but he was not willing to talk to him. Suddenly, he calmed down and Nick thought he had managed to calm Gibbs down, but he just passed out.

Jethros head was pounding and everything was black. Where was he and more importantly, where was Jack? He tried to open his eyes, but his head refused to do so. He took a few deep breaths and tried again. Gibbs blurred the turquoise curtains of the room.

Next to his bed were about five bouquets of flowers, but no one from his team was in his room. Where was everyone? Gibbs sat up and felt the needles in his arm move uncomfortably. Roughly, he tore all the tubes from his chest and forearms.

He sat up and paused again because he was to dizzy. Carefully he swung his legs from the bed and ran into the hallway. His team was still nowhere to be seen. Gibbs tiggled up and down the hallway until a nurse spoke to him quietly,

"Mister, I'm going to have to ask you to leave your room again. Your vitals don't look good."
He looked at the petite lady in confusion.

"Where is Jack? Please I must know," he asked in a sad tone.

The nurse sighed.

"You can see her, but not for more than five minutes."

Jethro was relieved. She was still alive. He could not imagine what he would have done if she had died. Hastily, he ran to the room where the nurse told him Jack was lying.
When Gibbs entered Jack's room, he was immediately looked at with concern by everyone.
Except Jack. She didn't move and was hooked up to a respirator. Gibbs looked around desperately.

"Is she in a coma?" he asked in a whisper.

"Gibbs, I am so sorry," Ellie said sadly, "but the doctors believe it isn't realistic that she will ever come out of the coma.
