The morning air felt cooler than it ever has before. Usually, Ten has to sleep with a fan on in the small second room of Taeyongs apartment, but last night was as cool as it was on the roof. He woke up feeling refreshed, like it was a good day. There was an aroma of coffee and pancakes coming from the kitchen. Once in awhile Taeyong would make breakfast when he was leaving for the day.

"You look happy," Taeyong said flipping the last pancake.

"Good morning," Ten giggled at the statement, there was a blush evident on his face. Sitting down at the table he finally dug into some pancakes, not forgetting his coffee with extra creamer.

"Enjoy the breakfast, I'm leaving for the day," Taeyong said, turning to leave the kitchen.

"Thanks, I'll miss you," Ten said giving Taeyong a puppy-eyed look.

Taeyong rolled his eyes before Taeyong left, closing the door softly.

"Finally he left," Lucas said, popping out of nowhere.

The angel startled the other so much he almost spilled his coffee.

"Don't do that," Ten sighed. "Also, Taeyong is my friend."

"I know, I just wanted to be alone with you," Lucas smiled.

"Oh," Ten choked on his pancake. He looked away trying to hide the red glow that covered his face. Normally he doesnt blush as much as he is today. Ten is used to making other people flustered, now the roles are reversed.

"Maybe today we can-" Lucas started to say but was cut off by Tens phone ringing.

It wasnt his phone, technically, it was taeyongs old phone that he let him borrow. It wasnt the new model that Ten used to have, he lost that in the fire. This one had a cracked screen and the battery lasted about an hour. Nonetheless, it was phone, and it was still ringing. The caller ID read Mark.

"Hello?" Ten asked.

"Hey! Ten, how are you?" Mark asked. His voice wavered like he was nervous.

"I'm fine," Ten hesitated, giving Lucas a weird look.

"Um, cool," Mark stammered. The line went mute for a second and then abruptly came back on. It sounded like someone was arguing in the background. "I was wondering if you'd like to come over?"

Ten widened his eyes at the question. Mark wants him to come over?

"You can come and chill here for a little while," The other said. "If you want to!"

"Um, yea sure," Ten said, not sure if he really wanted to go to Mark's house.

"Great! Ill see ya," Mark answered. "In thirty minutes?"

"Sure, see ya."

Ten ended the call. "You were saying?" He stood up to get ready to leave, he was walking so he had to go soon.

"Nevermind, Ill tell you later."

Within minutes Ten was ready and out of the door. The distance to Mark's house was a bit further than his old house. Taeyong lived closer to the city than the rest of his friends so it took about fifteen minutes to get to Mark's residence.

Mark's driveway was filled with cars, something Ten wasnt used to. Through the windows he could see outlines of a handful of people sitting in Mark's living room. This is odd. He shrugged it off and reached for the door handle.

"Wait!" Lucas said from behind him. "I dont think youll like going in there."

Ten jumped for the second time today. "What do you mean?" He said turning around.
