Iris entered Star Labs the next day and found the cortex in a mess.
"What in Zooms name happened here?" Cisco asked, entering the cortex as well.
"It's obviously the work of someone that has access to Star Labs" Ralph said.
"But who?" Cisco asked.
"The speed lab and Cisco's workshop is a mess as well. Someone's obviously angry with us" Frost said, entering the cortex.
"I think I know who it is" Iris said, putting her stuff down on one of the desks in the cortex.
"Who?" Ralph asked. Iris turned around and looked at Team Flash.
"Barry" Iris said.
LATER
"Why would Barry use the negative speedforce to get his speed back? He should know that that speedforce is dangerous and something not to be played around with" Cisco said.
"Do we know where Barry is?" Ralph asked.
"No, that's why I'm gonna check" Cisco said, walking over to one of the computers and searching for Barry's suit since it wasn't in the cortex and on the mannequin.
A few minutes passed and then Cisco finally got a location.
"Got him! He's in Charles Street. A few blocks from here" Cisco said.
"How did you manage to track him?" Ralph then asked.
"While I tweaked his flash ring, I added a tiny tracking device in it so if it was ever lost or if Barry got kidnapped or something and his suit wasn't connected, we'd be able to track him from the ring" Cisco said.
"Right..." Ralph said, understanding.
"So, who's going to Barry's location?" Frost then asked.
"I will" Iris said.
"Wouldn't it be dangerous? I mean, I respect that he's your husband and all but he's a speedster and with the new powers he's got, there's no telling what he'll do" Ralph said.
"Ralph, I can handle it ok? I was able to win against Marlize and also Eva. I'm pretty sure I can deal with a speedster that happens to be my husband" Iris said.
"Alright, guess I'm in too" Cisco then said.
"Me too" Allegra said.
"Count me in" Frost said.
"Ok, Chester and I will stay here and be at the comms when we need to" Kamilla said.
"You....are.....amazing" Cisco smiled, kissing Kamilla. Kamilla smiled after kissing Cisco back.
While Iris went to go and get one of the Star Labs guns and a pair of metahuman dampening cuffs; Cisco, Ralph, Allegra and Frost got into their suits.
Once they were all ready, they left Star Labs through a breach and arrived in Charles Street. But Barry was nowhere in sight.
"Are you sure the location was correct?" Ralph asked, looking around before looking at Cisco.
"Ralph, the computers at Star Labs are high tech. Of course they're correct!" Cisco snapped. Suddenly, a zooming noise interrupted them.
They all turned around and saw Barry with red lightning flickering around his body.
"So, ditched the red I see?" Cisco asked.
"Yeah figured I needed a change" Barry spoke, looking down at his suit before looking back at Cisco.
"So, the speed was a change too?" Cisco asked. Barry looked at him with annoyance.
"You know, I don't understand why I'm being asked about that over and over and over again. I really don't" Barry said.
"We could've found another way. Together" Iris said.
"No, not together" Barry said, shaking his head. Barry then sped off.
"Damnit! We need to catch him before he hurts someone" Cisco said, looking at the team.
"Ok but how are we gonna do that? He's a speedster" Ralph said.
"I've got a plan" Cisco replied.
LATER
"Ready?" Allegra whispered to Iris. Iris looked at Allegra and nodded.
"Alright, on three" Iris whispered.
"One" Iris whispered.
"Two" Allegra whispered.
"Three" Iris whispered. As Barry zoomed past, Iris fired a shot from the Star Labs gun and it hit Barry in the back. Sending him rolling across the concrete. He groaned in pain as he tried to get to his feet.
"Stay down!" Cisco immediately said, shooting a vibe blast at Barry. Which knocked him out. Cisco then quickly placed the handcuffs on Barry's wrists.
"We'd better get back to Star Labs before he wakes up" Ralph said. Cisco nodded. Cisco opened a breach and then he carried Barry through the breach and soon after, the rest of the team walked through.
When Barry woke up, he wondered where he was but after scanning his environment, he saw that he was in one of the containment cells. He looked to the left and saw his team looking at him with worried looks.
"Why am I in here?" Barry immediately asked.
"We put you in here so you don't hurt anyone" Cisco said.
"So, locking me up like a prisoner?" Barry asked in shock and annoyance.
"That's not what he meant Barry. With your new speed, it changed you. In a way that you never expected" Caitlin said.
"I expected to get my speed back. Without my speed, I was nothing" Barry said.
"That's not true Barry" Joe said.
"It is true. I was nothing before I became "The Flash" and I was nothing when I lost my speed" Barry said. Iris just walked off, feeling the emotions overwhelm her.
"So...what are you guys gonna do now? Just stand there and act all mopey around me?" Barry then asked.
"We're gonna help you" Cisco said.
"I don't need help Cisco" Barry said.
"Yes you do" Cisco then said as he then pressed on the screen next to the containment cell which then closed the particle accelerator door.
"How do you suppose we help?" Ralph then asked Cisco.
"We get a sample of Barry's new speed and figure out a way to reverse the effects so that he's back to being our Barry" Cisco said.
