Barry did whatever he could to get his mind of things. He raced around the city, sped around the speed lab, visited Star City and National City and also visited his parents graves.

"Hey Mom, hey Dad. I'm sorry I haven't been here a lot lately. I've just been...held up with things. The past few weeks have been a bit difficult. Trying to cope with the after affects of the trauma from the time I was with Thawne and Mardon and trying to be the best hero that I can for this city. And for my team." Barry said, laying down some flowers in front of their graves.

"And there's something I didn't get to tell you because I was so busy. Iris and I are expecting. Which means that you're gonna be grandparents" Barry continued as a smile appeared on his face.

"I know that you're technically already grandparents but I just wanted to let you two know that we're gonna see Nora. Again. I'm really excited to see her again. I'll be able to be there with her and watch her grow up and I'll be there to tell her that I'll always love her. No matter what" Barry continued. He then rested one hand on his father's grave and the other hand on his mother's grave. He then told them that he loved them forever and always and that he never stopped thinking about them. Even when some days, it looked like he did. He then stood up and sped off. Back to Star Labs.

A few months passed and Iris was now into her second trimester. Both Iris and Barry were decorating a spare room in the loft that was now going to be Nora's nursery.

"I'm so glad we get to see her again" Iris smiled as she painted the walls pink. Barry looked over at Iris.

"Me too" Barry smiled as he put together the cot.

*META-HUMAN ALERT APP SOUND*

Barry grabbed out his phone and looked at it. He sighed with annoyance. He then looked at Iris, who was looking at him.

"It's alright. I'll continue decorating the nursery" Iris said.

"But that's for the both of us" Barry said.

"Barry, it's fine. Just go and deal with what you need to do. I'll be here" Iris said. Barry sighed. He then kissed her and sped out of the semi-unfinished nursery. Iris sighed slowly before continuing with painting the walls.

"What have we got guys?" Barry asked through his communications.

"Shooting near Central City High School" Cisco said.

"That's the school Iris and I went to. Have the students been evacuated?" Barry asked.

"Yeah. Just got a call from Joe. The department has successfully managed to evacuate all the students" Cisco replied.

When Barry arrived at the school, he found the shooters.

"My wife and I are trying to decorate a nursery and you guys are really making it difficult" Barry said to the shooters. The shooters faced Barry. They raised their guns at Barry. Barry quickly sped around them a few times and then knocked their heads together. Ultimately knocking them out. He took apart the guns and then dropped them on the ground.

"Thanks Flash" An officer said to Barry, approaching him and the shooters.

"You're welcome" Barry said. He was about to rush off when Joe stopped him.

"Hey Joe" Barry smiled slightly.

"Can I talk to you for a moment?" Joe asked, pulling Barry to the side a little.

"Sure" Barry said as he then held onto Joe and then sped himself and Joe to an alley not too far from the high school. Barry then took off his mask.

"What's wrong?" Barry then asked.

"How's everything going with Iris?" Joe asked.

"Good. Very good. She's just decorating the nursery. I'm supposed to be helping her but this just....interrupted it" Barry sighed, referring to the situation about the high school.

"Have you guys thought about a baby shower yet?" Joe asked.

"I was actually going to ask you about that. I do need your help with it though since I want to make it a surprise like you did with Cecile" Barry said.

"Ok well, I'll quickly finish up at the school and I'll meet you at the Star Labs lounge with the team?" Joe asked.

"Sure" Barry said. He then gave Joe and hug and then sped off back to the loft to help Iris with the decorating of the nursery.
