Barry and Iris walked into Dr Finkel's office and sat down in front of her.

"Hello Barry, hello Iris. The drive down here was ok?" Dr Finkel asked with a smile as she grabbed her clipboard.

"Yes, it was good" Iris said.

"So, what brings you in here today, Barry?" Dr Finkel then asked Barry. Barry looked at Iris.

"Should I tell her what happened?" Barry asked quietly.

"Yeah" Iris said with a nod. Barry then looked back at Dr Finkel.

"I was at Star Labs with my wife and my friends and I was recovering from something when all of a sudden, the Reverse Flash comes in and kidnaps me. He takes me to this building where he begins to hurt me and he also uses his partner to hurt me as well" Barry said.

"Oh my god!" Dr Finkel said in shock as she wrote it down.

"And you believe that this is what's causing the nightmares?" Dr Finkel asked.

"Yes. I believe that that event has affected Barry in a way that his mind can't fully let go of it" Iris said.

"Well, I've heard a lot of situations like this and it looks like what you're suffering from Barry is "Posttraumatic Nightmares". Your mind has been affected by this event so badly that it's forcing you to relive those events through dreams" Dr Finkel said to Barry.

"I've also noticed a change in Barry's mood. Ever since coming back from Star Labs, he's been a little withdrawn and a little down. I've never seen him like this" Iris said.

"That would appear to be the after effects of the trauma. It puts the victim in a state where they're unable to think positively because of the trauma. Every time they try to think happily, the trauma always pulls them back under" Dr Finkel said.

"Is there anything that we can do about it?" Barry asked.

"Yes. I will be prescribing you with what's called "Mirtazapine". That will help with the depression and also a medication called "Triazolam". Which should help with sleep. Take the antidepressant twice a day and the sleeping medication once a day. Antidepressant in the morning and at night and the sleep medication at nighttime straight after you've eaten" Dr Finkel said to Barry, handing him a hand-written medication script.

"Thank you" Barry said.

"That's alright Barry. Now before you go, what I want you to do whenever ever you're feeling down like this, take some deep breaths and try to think of something. Something that makes you happy. Like Iris for instance. The love of your life makes you happy" Dr Finkel said.

"I certainly will" Barry did with a short smile.

"Ok, is another appointment in two weeks ok?" Dr Finkel asked.

"That should be fine" Barry said.

"Ok, I'll see you in two weeks" Dr Finkel smiled.

"Bye" Barry and Iris said at the same time.

"Bye" Dr Finkel replied. Barry and Iris then left her office.

"You feeling a bit better now?" Iris asked Barry as they began leaving the building.

"Yeah" Barry said, looking at her. Iris wrapped her arm around his waist.

"I love you" Barry smiled.

"I love you too" Iris replied.
