RECKLESS IN INK (BOOK TWO)

Mel

I had been feeling pains all day and I knew today was the day that this little guy wanted to come out. I had my bags packed and ready to go when it was time, I was helping Hawk's mother Robin with the invoices of the club and the scrapyard but I placed the pen down and leaned back in my chair. I rubbed my stomach as the plan became worse. "What's the matter?" Robin asked looking over at me. She and I became so close while I was pregnant with her first grandbaby, so she had been staying by my side through this whole thing. 

"I'm just having some pain" 

"But you're not due till next week," she tells me then she started to giggle, shaking her head. "Definitely his father, Beau was early too. You've got your bags ready?" She asked, starting to put things away.

"Yeah everything is already" 

After a while, I didn't have any pain so I went to go lay down but I just couldn't get comfortable, I sighed as I slowly got up and headed out of the dorm to go get a drink but I didn't make it because once I got down the hall I had to hold onto the wall when I groaned out in pain. As the guys were on a run for a few days before the baby came, nobody was here, except Twitch so I made it towards his dorm banging my fist on his door hard.

I grabbed my belly and groaned when I felt another shock of pain go through me. Twitch finally opened his door and had to grab me before my knees buckled under me "what's wrong?" He asked me.

"The baby… his coming" I groaned as I gripped his arms.

"Shit" he mumbled out, he quickly picked me up, walking down the hall before yelling for Robin to help.

Third-person pov

"Where the fuck is he!" Mel groaned out, as she was still waiting to go into the delivery room. She was only 5cm and it had been 3 hours. Robin was with her as Twitch paced the halls of the hospital trying to get a hold of Hawk. Robin was rubbing her back as she was leaning over the bed and moving from side to side. 

"He will be here" Robin kept telling Mel "I will go find out," she says, handing her a water bottle before she walked out the door. Robin looked down the hall to Twitch running his hand through his hair. "What's going on? Did you get a hold on him?" She asked him.

"Y..yeah, he said he'll be here as soon as he can," Twitch says.

"Alright, go have a cigarette and wait for the guys. I know you hate hospitals and it might be a while before we see this little guy" Robin told him, Twitch nods his head before kissing her cheek and walking towards the exit. Robin sighs before walking back towards the room that Mel was in.

An hour later Hawk came rushing through the hospital doors, with some of the guys coming in after him. "I'm going to fucking kill you" Mel yelled at him as soon as he walked into her room while the nurses were getting ready for Mel to start pushing.

"Love you too baby," Hawk tells Mel once he grabbed her hand before the nurses told her it was time to push.

Hawk was over the moon, holding his little boy in his arms wrapped up in a blue Armoured Beasts blanket and a beanie to match. Mel was watching him with a soft smile on her lips "You did amazing baby" Hawk says when he finally tore his eyes away from his sleeping son. 

"I couldn't do it without you," she tells him, making him chuckle nodding his head. Hawk leans down to kiss her lips. "Go show the guys their nephew. I know they would be dying to see him" she smiles softly feeling the painkillers kick in. Hawk left the room to let Mel have some rest but once he got to the waiting room it was crowded with leather, bearded men along with Gypsy and some of the sweetbutts. 

"Everyone met Rocco Jack Matthews" Hawk quietly tells everyone, Gypsy walks over to her brother and her nephew and smiles softly before leaning up and kissing her brother's cheek.

"His beautiful" Gypsy tells him before everyone else comes over to meet the little man. 

Once everyone took a seat, Hawk's father came over to him holding his arms out for his first grandson. Once he held him, he had to wipe his face, rid of tears. "His perfect son,"  he tells him while Robin went around taking photos. 

"We named him after you pop," Hawk tells the former president of his club, his father Jack. While Jack hands Gypsy little Rocco, Jack pulls his son over to the side with his wife by his side.

"You must protect them with your life so you better make that girl your wife," Jack tells Hawk as Robin hands him a little box. When Hawk opens it up, he sees a red diamond ring sitting there "it was your grandmothers and I gave it to your mother but we want you to give it to Mel" Jack tells him, Hawk nods his head before putting it in his pocket of his leather kutte. 

"I will pop" telling his dad before hugging both his parents.
