Rage
I sat at the bar drinking a cup of coffee when I heard the old ladies talking. "Did you hear what happened yesterday? Moxxie was a hostage when that ambulance crashed." Gypsy tells the old ladies.
"The one on the news?"
"Is she okay?"
"Yeah, Logan called, she's at the hospital. Do you know how she had that guy following her around? He was one of the doctors at the hospital, Logan knew him but he was the one that held her hostage"
"Oh my God… did they catch the guy?"
"He died at the scene but I had a feeling she crashed the ambulance"
As I listened to the ladies spoke I remained sitting at the bar, my hands were in fists. I had to take a steady breath. I felt Corba place his hand on my shoulder. I knew he heard what they were talking about.
"Did you want to head back? Make sure she's okay? I'm sure Hawk wouldn't mind" He asked me, as I remained quiet staring at my cup I shook my head no before getting up and walking out of the clubhouse. Corba and I had been sent to New York to help Tor and his charter with a few things about a month ago but really I knew it was to keep me off the alcohol, Hawk was starting to worry and to be honest, I couldn't blame him.
But as I was away I had received a phone call from the old age home that my grandmother was in. I immediately told Tor that I needed to leave and once he found out what happened he gave me the all-clear, telling me that he would call Hawk. It would take someone 4-5 hours from New York to Vermont on a regular day but I pushed it to make it 3 and a half, pretty much breaking every speed on the way.
Once I hit Vermont borders I rode straight to the hospital. I was sitting by her side as she breathlessly spoke about my grandfather, she had so much love for that man and over time it never went away. They began their life after the war, both of them serving. They had my mother but she had turned to drugs and prescription pills. It broke my grandparent's hearts as they watched her become the addict she was.
Later that night as I sat beside her, my grandmother passed away. Her heart couldn't take it anymore. I was left staring at her, holding her hand as I heard the monitor flat line. The doctors came in and recorded the time etc.
A few days after that the guys and I had a little memorial service for her but really I just wanted to be alone. I stood looking down at the little tombstone I had made, I placed her next to my grandfather. I sighed, hanging my head before the rain started. The flowers that laid on the ground became wet as the dirt around her tombstone became mud. I didn't know what to do or who to turn to so I let my feet take me back to my motorcycle before I knew it I was outside Moxxie's house. I couldn't see any car in the driveway when I walked up to her front door I knocked but no one answered. I was walking to my bike when her neighbour called out to me.
"She doesn't live there anymore" the lady called out to me.
"What do you mean?" I asked her loudly.
"The young lady living there sold it and moved away, said she was moving to Maine I think." I looked away feeling like someone had kicked me in the stomach hard. I told the lady thanks before getting on my bike and heading back to the clubhouse but when I got there I was shaking in anger I lost it. I walked straight up to my president's old lady.
"Why the fuck didn't you tell me she had left?" I growled at her, everyone had stopped what they were doing.
"She didn't want you to know, promised us to keep it from you," Mel said, holding her son behind her legs. "She loved you Rage but you broke her heart by sleeping with all those girls"
"I didn't do shit! I didn't sleep with those girls while I was with her!" I growled out, making her jump. Hawk stepped in between us pushing me back and away from his family.
"Go cool off," he says pointing to the clubhouse doors. "Don't make me knock you out" I glared at them both as I backed away from them, turning on the heel, I was out of the clubhouse and out of the compound before anyone could stop me.

Moxxie's pov
I woke up with the worst pain I've ever been in, I groaned turning on my side as I held myself. When I looked at the clock it was 3 am but the pain just got worse I could barely move. I called out for Bjørn. When I moved to Maine just under 3 months ago Bjørn had moved in with me, for the year he had been here in Maine I had missed him. Since everything that had happened with Phil, Bjørn became more overprotective.
"What's wrong?" I heard my brother call from the hall before he opened my door.
"I don't know. I woke up with pain in my stomach"
"I hope you got your things because I am not going to the drug store at this time of night"
"I don't think it's my period Bjørn," I tell him, switching on the light before I throw off my blanket when I feel something wet in my bed sheets. I gasped when I saw red blood all over my legs.
"What the fuck happen?" Bjørn asked as he stepped forward.
"Call an ambulance!" I screamed out, he rushed back to his bedroom to grab his phone as I got in the shower before changing into different comfortable clothing. I was loaded into the back of the ambulance and driven to the local hospital. As I waited in the ER getting tests done, my brother was pacing beside me as the nurses quickly rushed around mostly because they were scared of the patch on my brother's back.
About two hours later, the pain had subsided but that was when the doctor walked in. "How are you feeling?" She asked me but my brother answered instead.
"How do you think she feels!" He growled out, I placed my hand on his arm and he became quiet.
"I still have some pain but I want to know why I woke up bleeding that much. That is not a normal period"
"Your right about it not being a period. You were having a miscarriage" she tells us, I swear I felt my heart stop as I stared at her. "You were 9-10 weeks along" my hand was shaking as it came to my mouth. I felt like I was going to throw up. After the doctor gave us her apologies, she left to book me an appointment.
"You were pregnant?" I looked over at my brother, after a few minutes of silence. He had taken a seat in the chair beside me, this was the first time he sat after a few hours of pacing around.
"I… I didn't know" I tell him, shaking my head.
"Who was it?"
"Why? So you can go tell him?" I snapped. "I know what you told Rage, Zelda told me."
"He isn't good for you" he mumbled.
"Yeah? And who is? A doctor? Look how well that fucking turned out" I snapped at him again. "Just leave Bjørn."
"Mox…"
I shook my head and laid my head back, trying to get as comfortable as I could. When I heard my brother sigh, he stood up and left, closing the door blinds behind him. I could hear the nurses and doctors rushing around as I laid there as I remained in the ER, crying silently.
How the hell was I going to tell him…?
I lost something that would have meant so much to me…
