Third-person pov

Mireya pulled her hair back in a ponytail as she walked out of one of the back rooms, she walked over to her father and brother. Miguel handed her a backpack, her father pointed to the map telling her where she needed to go. Mireya studied it for a moment before nodding her head. "Be safe Mija" her father told her before kissing her forehead, she nodded her head towards her brother before leaving.

Yesterday they laid the dead to rest, today was back to business.

Mireya pulled on her hood and covered her mouth with her bandana before she got on her BMX bike and rode away.

As Twitch sat in the cell at the local police station with a broken hand, his head was pounding with a headache as well. Twitch had just finished speaking with the club lawyer, he knew what was going to come. He would have to stand in front of the judge and explain why he hit Jacob and of course, Jacob would pull a sob story just like he did before. Just this time he would be facing a longer sentence if Jacob doesn't wake up. Jacob was lying in the hospital in a coma...

Twitch's lawyer managed to get him released for now until the court date which happened to be in a few weeks. "Let's go, Gladden," an officer said as he opened the cell door. Twitch sat up on the bunk before standing up, he followed the officer out to the front desk of the station where he was met by Hawk and the club's lawyer.

"Try and keep his head down just until the court date" Twitch overheard the clubs lawyer telling Hawk when they walked out of the police station before turning to Twitch "I will come by in a few days to go over things" Twitch nodded his head before the lawyer walked away. Since Twitch couldn't ride until his hand healed Hawk had driven the truck over, mostly because he wanted to have a chat with his tech guy.

"You might be looking at a few years man," Hawk tells him after a few minutes of driving as Twitch stared out the window tapping his knee with his fist. Hawk sighed before he tried again to get his tech guy to talk "I'm sorry Twitch but I wanted to help Mireya but she had made up her mind. She has been in contact with Mel so she's okay"

"You know that the same gang killed her mother right in front of her" Twitch mumbles "that is what started the war between both gangs"

"Why did they kill her?" Hawk asked him.

"Business, power, territory whatever the 3rd Street Saints had or have the Red Dragons wanted or want."

"Why doesn't she just leave?" Hawk asked.

"Mireya has always been stubborn and rebellious and wants to follow in her father's and brother's footsteps," Twitch tells him.

"Then how the hell did she meet you?"

"Through a school project actually" Twitch reached up and ran his hand through his hair, Hawk pulled into the parking lot of the hospital. Logan helped Twitch with a cast for his hand before sending him on his way. When Hawk and Twitch got to the clubhouse, Echo gave Hawk a leather kutte.

"You will always have a seat at the table," Hawk told Twitch as he held open the leather kutte as the guys all stood around to watch. It was Twitch's leather kutte. "Never take that kutte off your back again, you got me?" Hawk said once Twitch placed his kutte on.

Back in New York, Mireya was handing over the product in the backpack to the customer. As she received the bag filled with money she made sure it was all there but the problem was that it was fake. A second later she heard the sound of a gun being cocked back "When will 3rd Street learn that they are messing with the wrong people." Mireya froze when she heard the leader of the Red Dragons Li Wei speak from behind her.

Mireya licked her dry lips, biting her lower ever so slightly as she watched Li's men come into view. Six or so men stood around in a circle, she held onto the backpack that was filled with fake $100 notes. They wanted the supply. Probably to plant it somewhere and get all of us caught.

She dropped the bag by her feet before she turned around to face Li, his smile grew bigger. "Ah if it isn't the little princess," Li says. "I missed you a few days ago, you missed one hell of a showdown. I think one of my bullets hit your brother's girl." Mireya tilted her head slightly as he spoke about Ava. She bit her tongue, trying to keep her mouth shut. "Sad though, she was pretty."

Over and over again Mireya thought of how she was going to get out of this situation. At every exit, one of Li's guys stood guarding it. "Take her to the van, I will be there in a few minutes," he tells one of his men, who grabbed Mireya and walked her out of the warehouse towards a van. When she was getting pushed inside, Mireya managed to get free and slammed the guys head into the door hard over and over until the guy had been knocked out It got her a head start in running away, not knowing the area well she just picked a direction and ran.

Around every corner, a Red Dragon stood and Mireya stood out in the crowd that hung out with the gang. She could hear yelling behind as she ran fast as she could. Mireya ran down an alleyway, hiding behind a dumpster until she heard their footsteps run past. When she looked out from behind it she saw that it was clear, she climbed up on the closed dumpster and reached for the ladder to climb up onto the roof of the building but Mireya heard someone yell out "SHE'S OVER HERE!" Mireya quickly climbed up and ran over to the edge of the roof, she looked back when she heard them climb up the ladder and she knew she had to make a decision now.

Mireya backed up a bit and ran straight for the edge of the building, jumping into the air. Everyone on the ground gasped as they saw someone fly through the air. Mireya landed and rolled onto the building, she knew her body was going to hurt in the morning. Holding her hand to her upper arm as she stood up and looked at the building she just came from, she saw Li's guys wondering how she did that. Mireya did it a few more times before climbing off the building and running to the bus station.

Mireya sat on the bus and reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone when she heard it ding. 'Twitch got arrested last night, he faces court in a few weeks and it's not looking good for him' Mel sent her. Mireya closed her eyes for a moment thinking of what he would have done, was it club business?

But when she opened her eyes the bus had stopped waiting for people to climb off and on the bus. She saw a girl that held a black eye with a duffel bag handing off her shoulder, the girl looked towards Mireya but quickly turned away before she took a seat. When the bus started to drive away from the stop, she sent a quick text to Mel before putting it back in her pocket. She kept her eyes on the girl a few seats down from her. Her mind stopped thinking about the Red Dragon it was now on the girl as flashes of memories ran through her mind of the girl stabbing Birdie.

'Just saw Amber, how the fuck did she get out of the slammer?'
