Third-person pov

Over the last few months, Jäger was dealing with his father as his father was trying to look for his mother. Keeping her safe at the clubhouse, Jäger did everything he could to get his hands on his father which wasn't too hard when Jäger's father came right to the club. It didn't take long before his father became mean and demanding even became racist towards the Jäger's club members.

Jäger wasn't haven't it, being part of Armoured Beasts meant everything to him. They were his family. As he remembers what his father did to him, he closed his eyes as his hands turned into fists, once they snapped open Jäger pulled out his gun from the back of his jeans and empty all his magazine into his father who stood a few meters in front of him.

He knew if he didn't do it now, his father would become a problem for the club.

Now it had been months since that day Jäger and a few other guys were on a run to New York, they were pulling into Tor's compound. Greeting the guys of Tor's club they had church right away, going over what needed to be done while they were there but wouldn't start until tomorrow as tonight they were partying of course. Jäger stayed outside for most of the night until he took the last sip of his beer and went to his dorm that he would be staying in for the next 2 weeks.

He had been waiting a while for a letter to come and when it did, Jäger wanted to rip it open and read it but he had to ride 4-5 hours to New York, have church and party with the guys before he was finally able to sit down and read the letter.

Dear Luka.

I am only just getting your letters from everyone really. They have moved us around so much over the past month it's unbelievable. Reading your letter broke my heart, I never knew what you and your mother went through. You both have been through a lot over the years but I am glad I got to meet you both, by the way, you describe your father and grandfather you are NOTHING like them.

Luka, you have a strength to push through those battles, you have love in your heart for your brothers in the club and I see the way you look at your mother. You look at her with love, you love your mother with everything you have.

Tomorrow is going to be a big day, I can't go into details as you know but I'm scared… I've never been scared like this before. I have a bad feeling about tomorrow but I can't say it out loud. I literally can't tell my team I have this feeling, I am their leader, I need to be strong for them so we can return home safely.

I don't know what is going to happen tomorrow but I know I will be thinking about coming home to you. To my girls, to my father.

I guess I have to go now, try to get some sleep before tomorrow comes. I miss you very much. Save me a beer when I come home.

I love you

Jäger and the guys had a few more days left of the run before they had to return back to Vermont. For a few days, Jäger has been having a bad feeling about something. Even waking up from his nightmares at 2- 3 a.m., he didn't know what was going on, only that he was covered in sweat each time he woke up.

By 5 am he was outside smoking a cigarette when he heard the clubhouse doors open, he snapped his head up to see Joker walking out of the clubhouse. "You alright man?" Joker asked him as he sat next to Jäger at the picnic table.

"I don't know…" he mumbles.

"Have you heard from Zelda?" He asked Jäger.

"Yeah, I got a letter before we came here but I can't shake this feeling. She wrote that she was scared… I think she went on a mission" Jäger told him. Joker knew what it was like to go on missions as they both knew what it was like to be overseas.

"I'm sure everything will be fine," Joker tells him. When they both finished off their cigarettes, they went inside to have the breakfast that Phoenix, Tor's old lady was making for everyone. With a smile on her face, she gave Jäger and Joker a plate filled with bacon, eggs, hash browns, sausages that lot.

An hour later after everyone had eaten, they heard motorcycles pull into the compound. Hacks checked to see who it was before calling out that it was Miracle Killers. Mostly everyone greeted the few Miracle Killer members as they walked through the door of the club, Jäger sat at the table as he watched Chains, Bones and Banshee say hello to each member of the Armoured Beasts.

As Banshee catches up with her brother Gunner, Bones catches up with everyone else. Chains walked over to Gypsy, knowing she knew Zelda the most. "Hey, Gypsy right?" Chains asked, as Gypsy smiled and nodded her head yes.

"Yes, that's me. What's up?"

"We have a mutual friend. Zelda" Chains says as Gypsy nods her head. "Have you heard from her? I know she went overseas again, about 10 months ago."

"She hasn't been sending you any letters?" Gypsy asked her, but Chains shook her head no.

"No, we skype each other, but for over a month I haven't heard anything"

"They have been moving her around a lot this time, I've only just received a letter. You could ask Jäger," Gypsy tells her as she points over to the guys sitting at the table playing poker. Chains thanked her and went over to the table and took a seat. Jäger and Whiskey stopped playing as they turned to the Miracle Killers hacker.

"So you're the boyfriend." Chains says as she looks towards Jäger, making him look at her with narrowed eyes. "Have you heard from Zelda?"

"I have"

"Well? Is she okay? What's happening over there?" Chains rumble on asking Jäger a lot of questions.

"I only just got a letter from her, which she sent it a few weeks ago. She says she's fine and is not allowed to tell anyone what's happening over there." Jäger tells her but Chains stands up getting in his face.

"Listen here asshole, she is my friend. I don't know who the fuck you think you are but I need to know!" Chains yelled at him as Jäger looked her over, noticing the tags around her neck. He stood up to his full height making everyone stop what they were doing to look over at them.

"How long did you serve? 1-2 years right? Then you would fucking know that you never allowed to write about what happens over there! So do not yell in my fucking face because you got your panties in a fucking twist."

Whiskey stood up and warned him not to do anything, Jäger's jaw was clenched shut as he pushed past Chains, walking out the door before pulling out a cigarette to light it. As Jäger smoked his cigarette he couldn't help but think about Zelda. Was she scared? Is she okay?

It was all a mess.
