04-Partners

The class erupted with cheers and commotion. 

"The U.A sports festival! We get to show everyone what we are made of!" Denki yelled.

Kirishima stood up and gave Denki a massive high five, you smiled as you watched them. After awhile, everyone settled back down and waited for Mr. Aizawa to continue talking.

"Anyways, as you may know, the U.A sports festival is the place where you can get noticed by pro heroes. These will come in handy later if you are indeed noticed. So, I advice you try your very best and train until the day comes. This year, I have assigned the class training partners. These partners were chosen based on your quirks and who would grant you the best benefit. I have stacks of papers up here with your training partners and more information about the festival."

The class gets up and walks to the front table. Mina and Mineta got paired together and you could see the annoyance written all over her face.

'I feel kinda bad' - you thought, but also couldn't help but to laugh a bit too.

You finally reach the front desk and sort through a couple of papers until you see one with "Y/N" printed neatly on the top. You scan your eyes down the paper to see surprisingly..

"Y/N" you hear someone say. "We're partners how cool is that!"

You turn around and there stands a familiar blonde headed boy.

"Denki!" you say happily and run over to him. You were so happy you were paired with someone so nice, and someone you could count on to try their very best.

"I told you we have similar quirks, but I bet fighting against you will be super hard," he says. He smiles the biggest smile you've ever seen and places his hand on your shoulder. "We are going to make each other a lot better y/n."

You were curious on who everyone else got paired up with and started to look around the room. You saw Todoroki and that he was paired up with Bak- 'What the heck? Why is he staring at me like that? He looks so angry.'

Bakugo held his stare with you a little longer before storming back up to the front desk.

"I WANT A NEW PARTNER DAMNIT," he screamed. Mr. Aizawa looked at him blankly and simply shook his head no, which only made Katsuki more upset.

"I AM ALWAYS STUCK WITH THIS ICY-HOT BASTARD." You could see sweat drip down his face from how much he was screaming. "HE WON'T HELP ME AT ALL AND WILL ONLY ANNOY THE SHIT OUT OF ME" he cried.

You could see Mr. Aizawa's face change, in a bad way of course. Shoto, in the corner of the class, was staring at the ground and trying not to smile.

"Katsuki Bakugo! You are one of the strongest individuals in this class. I needed to pair you up with someone who is just as strong as you, to give you a challenge."

Bakugo turned and looked at you, then back at Mr. Aizawa. "Didn't you say she was the strongest hero at her old school? Why can't I be pared with that idiot?" he groaned. He took down his tone slightly, so you assumed he saw Mr. Aizawa's face change too. 

The class turned to you, including Mr. Aizawa. You feel you face turn red and look at the ground, you didn't like all this attention...at all. A couple seconds later you feel someone put their arm around you, their hand that was hanging off shoulder was extremely close to your chest area.

Your face someone managed to get even redder.

"Me and y/n have very similar quirks Bakugo. We were paired together because we can make each other stronger. I want the chance to get to know her and how strong she is, she seems amazing already!" You look up at him as he spoke, his chin grazed your hair, and you could feel his breath on your forehead. "So c'monnn, no need to ruin this for me," he says while winking.

You look back over to Bakugo who looked like he was about to walk over and murder Denki. His fists were clenched hard at his sides and his breathing was unsteady. But, to your surprise, he gave one last mean glare to him and walked back to his spot.

"Like I wanted to be with her anyways," he grumbled.

"Ughhh, I'm bored," you groan as you flip over on your stomach. It's Saturday, and you don't have anything to do. Your hero training with Denki doesn't start until this afternoon.

You stare out the window as you start to drift off. That was until, you heard a loud knock at your door. No, it was more like banging.

"Open up dumbass"

Your eyes widen as you immediately know who it is. You fling off your bed and run over to the door, opening it just before he was about to bang again. You try to hide the shade of pink on your cheeks as you looked at Katsuki.

His blonde hair was messy and untamed. He had a black t-shirt on and gray sweatpants. You haven't seen him outside of his gym clothes before.

"Stop looking at me like that," he said annoyed but had a smirk on his face. You snap out of it and replace your embarrassed face with a face of confusion.

"What are you doing here?" you ask.

"I want you to show me what you can do," he says.

"What?" You tilted your head to one side, still unsure what he was asking of you.

He sighs and pushes past you, walking into your room. 

"We are going somewhere and I want you to show me your power. Everyone says you're strong so, I want to see it for myself. Oh, and so I know how to beat you" he says while laying down on your bed. You just stand there not saying anything.

'Who told him he could do that?'

You smirk, walking over to the bed. You stand over him as he looks up at you.

"What? You scared of me or something? Afraid i'm too strong?" you say teasingly.

Bakugo sits up faster than you had time to think. His face was now inches away from yours, and the cocky smile you had on your face a minute ago faded. It seemed he forgot what he was going to say too because he just stared right back at you.

'He has that damn expression again' - you thought.

You two both moved away from each other at the same time and Bakugo let out a nervous cough. You stepped back and waited for him to say something. When he stayed silent, you walked over to your desk chair and sat down. You spun around in circles until you saw Bakugo stand up.

"Let's go," he says.

"Oooookay dad," you say, laughing. Bakugo shakes his head at your stupid remark but you could tell he was holding a smile back.

"Idiot."
