Your arms felt like static from being held up so long, and you couldn't help but to put all your weight onto them. At this point, you didn't think the pain could get any worse.

The villains had left the room to go "get things ready," so only you and Bakugo were left in the complete silence.

Neither of you spoke, afraid that one word could break both of you. All you could hear was the slight ticking of the clock on the wall and Bakugo who kept cursing to himself.

"What are we going to do?" you finally ask softly, your voice sounding dry and scratchy from the screaming you've done.

He looks up at you, making eye contact in what seemed like forever. Your eyes start to water again as your heart ached. You glance down at his whip marks before your vision becomes blurry.

All you wanted to do was to run over there and hug him.

"Don't cry, please don't cry," Bakugo pleads, his eyes now threatening tears.

"I'm so sorry this happened," you whimper out, your body shaking.

"No. No don't apologize. I'm going to get us out of here," he growls out.

"But what if you can't," you say, your voice softer than a whisper. Your mind flared at the thought of never seeing the outside world again.

"I will."

"But what if you- "

"I SAID I WILL GODDAMIT"

He helplessly tries to fling off the gloves that were clamped to his hands, but soon drops them in defeat.

"I will.."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ・

It had only been ten minutes that the villains were gone, but it felt like four days to you. Each passing minute made you want to scream, cry, and puke more and more.

The door swings open as they walk in. If anything, you were relived the deathly silence was over. Well, not really.

This time, the group had an extra member. It was a girl, about 5'6. She kept her head down, her black matted hair covering her face. She had endless amounts of bruises and cuts up her arms and even on her legs.

You were confused, until she looked up.

"A-A-Aku?!"

You swore you could of passed out, your throat letting out screams of agony before you had time to think. You wanted to reach out for her, but you could tell she wasn't herself anymore.

Staring back at you was not Aku. Her eyes were completely white, no color in sight. Her face was pale, emotionless, and a scar overtook her top lip.

She didn't move. The only thing was her chest, that was rising and falling extremely fast, and her eyes that were rolling around. You had no idea how she could even see.

"Say hi to your friend darling," Dabi says, tapping her shoulder.

She responds like a robot, raising her hand slowly.

"H-Hi."

You lean down as your stomach takes in what you were seeing. You vomit until you were gasping, tears rolling down your cheeks. You couldn't take this.

"Well now, isn't that a shame," Tomura laughs out.

You squeeze your eyes shut and pray for the nightmare to be over. No matter how many times you blinked though, you stared right at your own blood; now mixed with whatever left you had in your cold stomach before.

Flashback

You place your hands over your head as you rest your back against the wall.

Your backpack had been thrown in a puddle by your usual middle school bullies. You were sitting in the rain in an alley, crying.

You have always been looked down upon because of how strong your power was, of course people were going to be jealous.

Even your mom seemed like she hated you, making your school life even harder than it was before. You were too scared to speak up since you've never been taught to.

You were alone.

"Hey," a small voice speaks up in front of you. It was hard to hear her over the rain pounding on your hood.

"Are you alright?"

You glance up at the comforting voice, eager to hear it again. You were met by a girl with beautiful long black silky hair. It stuck to her face a bit from the rain, but the natural blush on her cheeks was still visible.

But out of everything that made her beautiful, her eyes were the first thing you had noticed.

They were big and round, complimenting her face. Her eyes were a soft brown and in the middle was twirls of black and green. They weren't harsh, they never judged you like the other eyes did.

From that day onward, you never ignored how people's eyes looked. You learned to read them. You could tell who a person was just by looking at their eyes.

Akuma was an angel.

"I'm okay," you mumble out as you look away.

"You don't look okay," she says, crouching down next to you. "Why don't you talk to me about it?"

And that's how you met the one person who made you feel like you belonged.

The one person who pushed you to follow your dreams.

"I love you."

"I love you more."

Present

"Please stop," you mutter out. "Please just stop."

You glance up again, your head feeling like it weighed more than the world.

"Why are you doing this?"

Dabi laughs out as he shakes his head.

"Cause we are villains."
