"GO!"
Half of the teams went for each other, but the other half went for you.
Izuku's team and a team from class B stood in front on you. You watched carefully and held your breath.
They jumped at you at the same time and the two teams collided together causing a fight. It was your chance to run to another spot on the ring. Lucky.
As Denki, Kiri, and you were running, you jump at a sudden loud voice behind you. You turn to see a blonde headed boy from class B.
"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING?" he yelled.
"Who is this guy? Do either of you know his quirk?" you asked as Denki ran faster.
"His name is Neito Monoma," Kiri said loudly running in front of you. "I heard he copies quirks if he touches you."
You look back at the 5'7 boy. He had his hands straight out in front of him, making explosions.
"Shit," you mutter. "He got Bakugo's quirk."
He sent an explosion right to the left of your group. Smoke rises up making it hard to see where your opponents were at. You spin around, storing electricity in your hands.
"Y/N! DODGE!" you hear Kirishima yell.
You spin to the right and see Monoma's hand going right for your head. You move at the very last minute but he manages to clamp his fingers around your braid.
He pulls, hard, almost sending you falling backwards off of Denki. You cuss and lift your hand. You couldn't see his face because he has now made his way behind you, probably trying to grab your headband from the back.
Kirishima ran to the group but was stopped by Kosei Tsuburaba, another class B student. His quirk is Solid air, so he makes a shield around the carriers causing Kiri to try and break through.
Denki holds onto your legs extremely tight, determined to keep his balance. He was waiting for the code word and prepared himself.
"Get off of me you fucking pig!" you yell. You were trying to figure out where he was so you could send an attack bullet. But he kept creating explosions causing the area to be filled by thick smoke.
He wasn't touching you yet, but you could feel the heat of his hand climbing up your back. You panic and swing your arm back, colliding with his other arm. You grab on tightly and release a bolt.
His hand immediately lets go of your braid and you hear the entire team groan in pain. The bolt had spread through his body and then to his peers because of physical contact. Kirishima, mad as ever, takes his place back in front of you.
"That was a close one there," you hear Denki laugh out from under you as you continue to move.
"Too close," you say back, still shaken up.
The other teams have been fighting each other. You assumed the ones standing would go for you last because they didn't want everyone else coming for your headband too.
You watch, trying to catch your breath, as teams battled with each other, and after the smoke around you clears, Todoroki comes into view.
He was on the other side of the ring and had 4 headbands around his neck, including the one on his head. You glance at the scoreboard and see that he is in second place, one above Bakugo's team.
You look forward again and you make direct eye contact with him, he smirks and taps Ida's head, signaling for him to go.
You also tap Denki's head, getting his attention.
