You shiver as the wind hits your bare arms. It was Fall, so it was a bit colder and you forgot your jacket in your room. You bring your hands up to your arms and rub them up and down.
Bakugo gives you a side glance and then lets out a long sigh. He takes off the bag he has been carrying on his back and unzips it.
He said he brought it for first aid in case something happened, but for some reason that explanation didn't seem so convincing.
Before you could figure out what he was doing, something was draped over your head and covered your face.
"Take the damn thing so I don't have to hear you complain," he said.
You take the jacket off your head and stare at it.
"Are you going to put it on?" he asked, embarrassed. "I'll take it back if you don't want it."
You look up and give him a smile. "No no! Thank you so much," you said, while putting the jacket on. It was big on you and almost went down to your knees. You could smell the cologne he put on it, and you tried not to make it too noticeable you were enjoying it a little too much.
You guys walked for a little while longer before reaching a big open plain of land. It was pretty far away from the school, so you assumed this is where Katsuki went to train by himself.
"Okay," he said turning to you. "Show me what you got, and don't ruin anything too badly, like the ground or trees."
"Aw, you think i'm strong," you teased. He turned to you, his eyes narrowing to let out a harsh glare.
"I would say that to anyone," he growled.
"Yeah yeah whatever," you say mockingly, waving your hands. You walk out into the middle of the open area and take a deep breath.
'There's a storm nearby'- you thought. You could feel it. You smiled a bit to yourself and looked back over to Katsuki who was watching you with his eyebrows raised, waiting for something to happen.
All at once, you started to store the energy from the lighting into your body right out of the storm. Visually, your body gave off this orange and yellow glow, and your hair seemed to stand straight up from the static. The feeling made you feel alive; you loved showing off your quirk.
'A little more y/n' - you told yourself. 'Take as much energy in as possible.'
You start to get overwhelmed, the feeling of the lighting filling your whole body head to toe. You let out a groan as you push yourself to absorb even more.
Finally, you reach your limit and the bright glow your body gave off faded. You eyes though, were a burning yellow mixed with orange. It was something your quirk manipulated about your body.
Your mind forgot Katsuki was even there, your brain was only focused on the feeling of the lighting and how you were going to use it.
You decided you would start out with your small attacks and then move into something bigger.
You send a couple of strikes out of your hands. Each one sends an enormous impact on your body.
'Crap. I forgot my bracelets in my dorm.'
But you have trained for years, and built up enough mussel that anyone watching couldn't even tell there was any impact.
You made the strikes bigger, brighter; and smile to yourself. You jump up and send a bolt flying out of your right hand, releasing 2 times the energy you normally would. This was your sky attack. The bolt connected with the closest cloud and then hit the ground with an enormously loud bang.
You flip, spin, and jump all around, creating a light show with your bolts. Each one hitting the exact same spot on the ground. You had incredible aim, and trained yourself to be one with your strikes.
Finally you land, sweat dripping down your face and your eyes still glowing. You had enough energy left for your last move.
You remember learning it, it took you years but with your moms harsh training, you got it down. You crouch trying to ease your hard breathing, and place both of your hands on the ground. You close your eyes and imagine putting all of the energy left in your body into your hands. Sparks begin to come off your arms, and your hands glowed from the sudden burst of static. You hold your breath.
'Okay here we go.'
You let out a scream and slam your hands down. You were blown back, and you felt every drop of energy in your body leave. You look up and waited for it to happen.
You can hear the ground rumble, and about 2 seconds later, 7 bolts fly out of the ground. Each one is a different color and size. They connect together imitating a web. The strikes travel upward until they reach a cloud and finally, come straight back down. The loud noise echos and travels through the entire campus. You relax, satisfied with yourself.
You jump as you remember who was watching you. He was still, not moving a muscle, and his face was pure white while shock was written all over it. You get up and wince as your muscles twitched and burned. You made your way over to him and laid down on the ground.
"Well, whatcha thin-"
"You are insane y/n"
He sits down next to you and grabs your hands. You wince again as the electricity burns you usually get sting from his touch. He reaches over and grabs his bag, rummaging until he finds a cotton ball and some alcohol.
"Ow!" you cry and sit up, which you immediately regret as pain shoots up your back. You used all of your attacks in under 30 minutes, your body hasn't done that in years.
"Stop moving moron!" Bakugo screams, pushing you back down to the ground by your head. "Let me do this, please."
You look up at him confused. 'Why was he acting like this?' You rest your head down on the ground and tried not to flinch when he cleaned your burns. You were so tired, and your head was pounding from the amount of electricity your body carried before. You were covered in sweat, but your breathing had calmed down to normal now.
"Okay, you can move" he said. He placed all of the stuff back into his bag and stood up. You were so comfortable that it took everything out of you to sit up, groaning with pain.
"Can you stand?" he asked concerned, which kinda freaked you out. His sudden niceness towards you seemed to catch you off guard.
You nod and stand up shakily, you were uneasy on your feet and tripped a bit. Your eyes fluttered as you started to walk, dragging your feet.
'I should really push myself harder more so next time I won't be so tired'
Bakugo looked at you shaking his head and came up behind you. You suddenly felt arms around your waist, lifting you off the ground. Katsuki picked you up bridal style and his face was stubborn looking. You were so tired that you didn't say anything or resist, and rested your head on his chest. The warmth of his skin could be felt through his t-shirt, and you could hear the faint sound of his heartbeat. His smell filled your nose, relaxing you, and before you knew it, you fell asleep in his arms.
